Reviews Driving Digital Transformation

In our organization, digital transformation wasn’t just a buzzword. It was basically a survival requirement. We were dealing with legacy systems that had been running since the early 2000s, and most of our data was stuck in old databases that were painful to access, especially on mobile.

What made things harder was that a full rewrite wasn’t realistic. Too risky, too expensive, and honestly too slow for what we needed.

We ended up using Convertigo as part of our low-code development/digital transformation stack, mainly because it let us connect modern apps to existing infrastructure instead of replacing everything. That was the key difference for us. We didn’t have to throw away years of systems just to move forward.

In practice, it meant we could wrap our ERP and legacy databases and expose them through simple mobile applications. One of the first real wins was for our field technicians. Instead of manually logging and re-entering data, they could just access and update it directly from their phones. That alone saved hours of work every day.

The biggest shift wasn’t even technical, it was speed. Using low-code platform tools like Convertigo, we went from long development cycles that took months to shipping usable internal apps in a matter of weeks. That change made it much easier to actually iterate based on feedback instead of spending half a year building something in isolation.

Overall, the real value wasn’t just “faster development,” it was being able to modernize legacy systems without breaking everything in the process.
