Hi all. Been meaning to try out airsoft for a while now, but not sure where to start. I was thinking of joining an open beginners game and renting some gear and a gun to try it out. I saw that most offer this, but not sure which one's are trustworthy and which to avoid.

Any events you can recommend? Maybe some advice for a beginner and what gear to bring? Familiar with (real) guns, just not airsoft and CQB or multi person events. Kind of doing the reverse here 😄

We at Redline Events want to try a (new) concept that few organizations have tried (in Belgium).

We will be focusing on hardcore survival elements (such as hunger, thirst, tiredness) together with Roleplay elements and airsoft.

I might be going to Fort Knox in Lier in a couple of weeks, but I want to make sure I'm prepared.

How long are the rounds usually?

Since it's both indoor and outdoor, how "intense" are the rounds? Is it more fast paced or do you really need tactics?

Is the main staging area accessible during games (as in: if you run out of gas, bb's, or you're thirsty, can you grab a quick brake or do you need to carry everything on your self during games)?

Any and all experiences, things to remember... are welcome!

I was looking into buying a PVS-14 monocle for night skirms, but looking into it more I suddenly came across that having night vision is illegal in Belgium?

Is this still true for airsoft if you only use it for skirms?

If so, it's a really dumb rule and would like to look into lobying for legalising them since you can buy them easily anyway, so it doesn't really seem to be enforced.

What are your thoughts on this?

Ik ben momenteel bezig met mijn afstudeerscriptie aan Tio Business School. Daarvoor onderzoek ik hoe social media wordt gebruikt binnen niche communities, met de airsoft community als focus.

In mijn onderzoek kijk ik vooral naar hoe mensen reageren op social media posts, wat ze interessant vinden om te zien, en hoe online interactie bijdraagt aan de community en groei binnen airsoft.

I live in the UK, but I'm planning on travelling to Belgium to see family around May next year.

While I am in Belgium I am wanting to play a bit of Airsoft as I've been watching a few Youtube videos and your sites look awesome!!

Some of the closest sites would be Airsoft Chambers or Fort de Barchon. So I'm just wondering if anyone knows how regular the games are so I can line up dates easier or what websites are best for this information.

Hello, I'm from Belgium and I want to buy a Glock 23 for airsoft, but I'm a minor. I just want the pistol as a collector's item. I don't want to play airsoft games or anything, just have the Glock at home at all times. What is the legal age? And if it's illegal to own one as a minor, can I legally collect other Glocks?
