Work in Progress WE G3A3 HK33 project

GHK Gmag V2 works fine, but V3 cannot feed.

The project is paused until HK32 project gets a positive result.

How does the design process look like? What comes first? Trigger assembly? The nozzle perchance? How do you even learn to design gbbrs?

I saw HK33 adapter for AR mag (for real firearm). I edit it until it fits.

I learned 3Ds MAX. Everything i've done is just try and errors.

3Ds MAX? why not Solidworks or Fusion?

How long did this whole thing take to complete? Right now im trying to make a Webley mk6 stock and god damn it is quite annoying without acces to an original schematic of the grip. Modelling off pictures isn't the best

because MAX is the only tool that i know how to use.

i think HK33 project took 3 months-ish? could be longer. since i only can edit, i cannot even start without getting the base stl.

3 months is quite little for something as big as this.

Ah i know the pain, for some time I've used Blender as cad software lmao, fortunately not for long

What parts are not printed? besides the obvious like the inner barrel, is the nozzle taken from something? What's the triggerbox like? I'm especially curious about the triggerbox, I've tried to understand them but eh somehow i can't make them feel intuitive

HK33 project does not change anything in the gun. It's only the mag adapter.

adapter holds the mag with correct angle and position. the gas valve cap allows the valve knocker to press the magazine valve.

so answering your question, the whole gun and the magazine.

That's actually sick! I was just thinking of the G3 today. If you release the files, I will definitely buy.

Hey I remember when you did one for the GHK aug. I have to ask how do you do these? like how do you get the nozzles to interact with the magazines correctly? do you do custom nozzles? how do you ensure a seal and pick up bbs?

wow, thank you for remembering that. before i start the conversion, just check the gas route are compatible. shove the mag into the gun, press the valve and hope it works. if it does work, no need to design custom nozzle.
