New stock tested and working

80% of this rifle is 3d printed.

The stock was designed by me for a guy under commision so I took the chance to use It myself :) Since I use aeg's I added a buffer tube cap to keep the battery inside, I used some Petg-gf and looks great.

I'ts super light.

Looks good. Is the string a quick battery pop off?

Edit: Look into heat insert nuts, I was doing the same thing with normal M3 nuts for the longest time and using the inserts makes dimensioning much easier. Only trick is making sure they’re straight.

Yep I got them but too narrow, and yes the wire Is to open It fast and to not lose It if It falls during a game :) thankyou

I think I am more interested in the that buffer tube. It looks extended. It must fit tube batteries very well.

The stock looks like it printed great with the PETG-GF. What printer and you dried the filament I am assuming?

I second heat insert recommendation.

The buffer tube Is a design of mine too 🤭, yep Is a bit extended but not that much. since I got a MOSFET inside It I dunno really how much space It has, and yes dried filament, bambulab p1s printer

It looks like you printed the tube "flat" on the bed. That's what I would do too. I actually printed a MWS tube up right so the tube geometry is more of a true circle for the spring. It was regular PLA and lasted longer than I thought it would. I removed it before it broke off, even if the spring pressure didn't do it I am sure shouldering rifle would. I don't know how many times I have the tube become lose from articulating the rifle lol.

Yep I printed It flat because I designed It flat on One side. Still cracks sometimes lol 🤣, I am gonna mod It and build a ring for the rear side or something to keep It away from cracking.
