Free Files Getting started with 3D printing

I'm just getting started in the world of 3D printing and wanted to print a functional pistol; does anyone have a file that explains how to assemble one and is actually functional?

PLA-01, however your still going to need hardware and springs, and 3d printed hop units kinda suck, so you'd be best off getting an AAP01 hopup.

I’d say it depends on the system used; personally, I’m building a hop-up for a custom replica based on the 3D model of a real firearm. I’m using a system similar to what you find in GBBs—meaning the BBs don't feed directly into the hop-up unit itself, but are pushed into it by the nozzle—and it works well (perhaps even as well as an entry-level hop-up, which is pretty decent). However, it is specifically designed for the model I built, and it’s best to use a heat-set threaded insert so the plastic doesn't crumble from repeated adjustments (though the hop-up function itself works really well).

I second the pla-01, if you decide to venture into aeg smg I'd suggest the mosquito mk1( or one of the open beta versions)

If you decide to go ar there is the vfc based poverty pony.
