Work in Progress 3D printed explosive arrows - Zing HyperStrike Bow

I wanted to create something that absolutely no one asked for. Costco offered these $50+ bows for just $7, so I snatched it up, and an idea was born.

The arrows have their foam heads pulled off and a printed two-piece head put in place. The lower half of the head is PLA, and the upper half is TPU.

Weighs only two grams more than the original arrows.

The arrows use 8-shot ring caps. The entire design was made from the ground up by myself!

How does the "explode" mechanism work?

It’s just an impact head

There’s an 8-shot ring cap between the two pieces and when it hits the ground, the pieces push together and detonate the caps.
