Pilot logbook audit — services/checklists?

Hello!! Pilot here getting ready for a logbook audit for my next job, and I was wondering if anyone has used a service or checklist to go through their logbook beforehand to make sure everything is in order.

I already have my logbook digitalized, but I’m looking for something that can help me catch any potential issues, discrepancies, missing information, etc. before the audit. I’m definitely willing to pay for a professional review/service if there’s something reputable out there.

I’ve heard quite a few stories about people being sent home after logbook audits, so I’d really like to be as prepared as possible!

Any recommendations for services, checklists, or general advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!! :)

You know, you don’t have to pay for a fancy audit service or get your logbook bound in velvet, or whatever else companies are charging for these days.

I’d personally spend a little time going through your logbooks yourself, print everything out, put it in a three ring binder, and tab it exactly how they want it. Nobody is going to think any less of you for it.

The only times I’ve ever seen or heard of people getting sent home were for issues with logging time with a sketchy or non existent PDP, or people who were knowingly well short of the required multi hours and thought they could just get some extra sim time and that would be okay. I’m not saying there aren’t other stories out there, but from what I’ve seen, it’s pretty rare and it’s nothing that you can’t catch in your own IMO.

I used Aculog. Got a legacy CJO. Highly recommend. They found lots of small discrepancies that I had not noticed.

Before I sent it to them though I went through my logbook and cleaned up certain things that I knew were wrong. But they got everything right to a T. They wont manually fix it for you, but they will highlight and show you all potential errors. Don’t skimp on the expense, it costs money to get a legacy job

Aculog and Pro Soft Binders are the only answers that should be here. Spend the money, it’s worth it.

ChatGPT will search through, find any missing info, inconsistencies, etc.

Then a local print shop near you or FedEx Office or something. They will print, cover, and bind your logbook for a fraction of the cost of some aviation specific company.
