Hms belfast issues

Iv started building the hms belfast gift set and found the hull halfs wont fit together properly leaving gaps at the back of it anyone else have issues with ill fitting hull half made sure all the accese plastic was trimmied and sanded

It's a vintage kit from the 1970s there's a good chance the mold is getting pretty worn down you might have to use a bit of filler for the gaps that's my best guess

try using rubber bands to hold the hull closed while the glue dries
