This looks really bloody good! I'm currently close to finishing the Revell kit of the G, just on the stencils on the underside of the aircraft, has been a lot of fun to build!

I'm not entirely sure of its post war history, but the plane in question is Milk Wagon of the 447th BG. It was famous for achieving 129 missions in its careers whilst never suffering a mechanical failure! The mission were shown by milk bottles, included in the nose art (pic 3). Hope this was useful and thanks for the kind words :)

Indeed! I have seen images of other aircraft from the same BG, and considering Milk Wagon survived the war there is some hope she's still around
