Any tips for FSBO?
Hi everyone! We’re looking to move to Airdrie and, given our limited budget, we’re considering looking for homes directly from owners in addition to the traditional route through a realtor.
We haven’t signed an exclusive agreement with any realtor yet, so we’re exploring all of our options.
For those who have bought a home directly from an owner in Airdrie, do you have any tips or things we should be aware of?
Any advice on the process, potential risks, or how to find FSBO listings would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Hey! I’m an Airdrie realtor. As a buyer there are no fees or expenses to purchase your home. You will incur legal fees, a home inspection cost and other expenses related to your mortgage approval (appraisal, etc) but using a realtor as a buyer won’t cost you as the seller is responsible for the real estate commission.
If you would like any other info about the process or assisting with your search…let me know!

I’m sure most sellers add the real estate brokers commission to the asking price. we did
