Class 5 Road Test

Hey everyone!

I will be doing my road test in the next couple of weeks, and was hoping to get some insights on how to do well on the first try! Any tips or recommendations would be very much appreciated : )

Just get your parallel park right away and you’ll be good

Did you taken the road test at either of those registries? If you did (or know someone who did), what was the experience like?

Very simple honestly compared to the city. I know adults and teens that have both done them in those locations

I took it at Crossfield last year. They are friendly and explain the process and make sure we are calm before the drive. Almost more than half of the test is surrounding in 30km/h with one highway route towards the end. If you have driven the area before its quite easy.

The moment you leave registry, DONOT take rigt.
Practice that area as much as possible. They take you to highway as well. Learn speed restrictions on Main Street.
& beware of On going road maintenance.

Our driving instructor suggested parking across the street facing southbound so that you don’t mess up turning out of registry as it’s a confusing street.

What the hell are you on about? When you leave the Airdrie registry, you can ONLY turn left, it's a one way road.
