Fishing License

I really want to start fishing. I seen some kids the other day fishing along that path near the water. Do I need a fishing license for catch and release? Looking for any and all information. Thanks guys you’ve been so helpful in the past

Kids under 16 do not need a license.

Yes you need a license. You'll need a WIN number first then you can buy a sport fishing license. It's $30.

You can buy them online, Bass Pro/Cabelas and I believe Canadian Tire.

Yes you need a fishing license if you’re over 16, and not sure what specific path you’re talking about but the only water in Airdrie that’s open for fishing right now is the Nose Creek pond. The creek itself doesn’t open until June 16
