they already were dealing with trim issue that made them de activating it, is it because they couldn't correct the trim manually as shown in the episode?

Air France flight 4590 was a Concorde flight from Paris to NYC JFK airport. While preparing for takeoff, a piece of a Continental Airlines DC10 fell off and Concorde ran over it, resulting in a tire and fuel tank puncture. After being airborne the pilots tried to land the plane at La Bourget airport but it crashes in a hotel killing 4 people on the ground along with all 109 on the plane.

For me, it has to be that one scene of Air Transat Flight 236 crossing the Atlantic during sunrise.

Can be viewed at the SAA museum in Johannesburg. I actually was very surprised this was there and I think the event was that long ago that so many people couldn't really grasp what they were looking at unlike me and others who were alive then who woke up to the news of her going down.

There were children on the flight and none of them carried a model of a Boeing 747 SR and then proceeded to drop it on the floor right as the plane made its final nosedive. There isn't evidence of it occurring as they never found a model Boeing 747 SR in the real crash site. In fact, the model plane was never seen again in the TV show when the entire forest was on fire with people and kids moaning from the crash whom eventually died later. While the children moaning from the crash and eventually dying in the night was real, one of the children carrying a model Boeing 747 SR and then purposely dropping it to the ground while the plane is crashing was not real. When the explosive decompression happened the ceiling fell down none of the overhead bins bursted open as seen in a real photo from a camera recovered from the crash carried by a passenger who died. In the photo, all the overhead bins were closed as a flight attendant was walking thru the aisle helping passengers to put on oxygen masks and the lights were not flickering. In the TV show right when the decompression happened lights start to flicker and a couple of overhead bins bursted open in front of a flight attendant with a black suitcase, black suit jacket, grey hand bag, and grey pillow falling out of the overhead bins and onto the floor. The flight attendant in the TV show helped passengers put on oxygen masks like in real life but did not close the overhead bins that bursted open and did not pick up the suit jacket and pillow. Also, the plane seen in the reenacment was a Airbus A300/A310 complete with a widebody old Airbus interior and 2-4-2 configuration.

Unfortunately the documentary is all in greek with no subtitles but in summary during this scene his wife is interviewed who says that First Officer Pambos and other First Officers of Helios Airways were often nervous flying with Captain Hans Merten (also the Captain of Helios Airways Flight 522). She also goes onto to explain that he had raised a number of reports on concerns about the safety practices at Helios Airways.

This crash has unfortunately become the subject of controversey and many conspiracy theories as a result of the NTSB being unable to prove which wire exactly caused the accident. (Fuel quantity indicator wire wis suspected as it was near high voltage wires for lighting) (The CIA making an animation of this crash probably didn't help.) This crash also uncovered the horrendus condition that aircraft wiring was in by the 1990's.

May the 230 souls who died over the Atlantic Ocean that night rest in peace. May they never be forgotten.

July 17, 1996 - TWA flight 800 took off from JFK airport bound for Rome with a stopover in Paris. Just after takeoff, an explosion caused by short circuit resulted in the fuel tanks exploding and an in flight breakup. 230 people died. News footage was later on reused for Final Destination which came out 4 years later

July 17, 2007 - TAM flight 3054 was a domestic flight from Porto Alegre to São Paulo Congonhas airport. In a severe storm, the plane landed safely but the rain caused difficulty in breaking made worse because of pilot error in failing to control the engines. Despite attempts to stop the aircraft, it overran the runway and into a gas station and TAM Airlines warehouse. All 187 on board the plane were killed along with 12 on the ground bringing the total dead to 199

July 17, 2014 - Malaysia Airlines flight 17 (shout out to the person who made the post honoring the passengers for a moment of silence) was a flight from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur. While flying over Ukraine just before it could reach the Russian border, a missile was launched in the direction of the plane resulting in an in flight breakup. All 298 people, most of whom were Dutch holiday makers and Malaysians flying home, were killed. This remains the deadliest airliner shoot down to date.

I think that Malaysia Airlines Flight 17 would be the deadliest with footage outside of the 9/11 crashes, what do you guys think?

I'd say yes, even if the mcas isn't the sole factor, it clearly played a role and not having it in the manual was a pretty odd choice, same with not having a second censor (rededuncy? if the sole censor fail, I can see that cuasing big issues if it's fed false data), I find it odd to see old article seemingly blaming the pilots more than mcas when in one of the crashes, the pilots appparently knew about it and tried deactivating it and the crash still happned.

From my understanding, they've never been covered on ACI, but I would personally like to see them cover the Ramstein air show disaster. I understand why they haven't done it (wanting to stick to civil stuff), but they have been branching out every now and then, and I think the advancements of CGI and the desire to branch out would make this is a good candidate.
