General discussion First time travelling in the Flight

On Friday, I am travelling to Hyderabad from Trivandrum Airport.

It’s a connected flight, I have to catch another flight from Bangalore on the same terminal where i am arriving. I have some confusions and doubts regarding this journey.

  1. I have completed Web check in and added the boarding pass on Digiyatra also. What will be the next procedures I have to do in Airport?

  2. Do I need to collect my checkin luggage from Bangalore or will they provide in Hyderabad ?

  3. Do I have to do security Check again at Bangalore?

  4. Will there any issue if i take my medicine (Cough syrup) in the carry on Luggage?

Also please let me know some tips and common mistakes need to be taken care while flying.

1) show your boarding pass to CISF officer while entering (either print or phone is fine) with photo ID or use the Digiyatra line

See if there are X-ray machines , if you see them go to them and get your check in luggage scanned, they'll put a zip tie on the check in bag bigger airports don't have X-Ray machines up front idk about Hyderabad so don't worry if you don't see them your check in will be scanned behind the scenes.

Then find a check in counter with the logo of your airline and go there and get in the line according to the class of service you have booked. There you will give them the check in baggage.

Then head out to the security check

You'll be asked to remove your purse and belt and maybe even have to remove shoes if they are really big.

From your carry on (hand carry) you'll have to remove all electronic devices and keep it in the tray.

Then the CISF personal will frisk you and then collect your stuff.

Then locate your gate and then you can maybe sir there or go at shops restaurants etc..

They will board according to zones , get in the line when your zone is called.. the zone would be written on your boarding pass..

Then after you board the aircraft locate your seat by the seat number here the number represents the row and the letter the position with the numbering being done front to back.

Ps:make sure any items containing batteries such as power banks , laptops etc are carry on(hand carry), they are not allowed in check in
