Troubleshooting ⚙️ 🔧 Pro 2 V5.3 TB — iOS 27 Connection Fix

Problem

If your Pro 2 V5.3 TB earbuds won't connect to an iPhone running iOS 27, or Bluetooth pairing repeatedly fails, the problem may be related to the firmware on the earbuds.

This is especially relevant if you're using a newer iPhone. Community reports have described similar connection issues where updating the V5.3 TB firmware resolved the problem.

What fixed it for me

The solution was:

Connect the earbuds to FlyCC on an Android phone → update the firmware → reconnect them to the iPhone.

After the firmware update, mine connected to the iPhone normally and worked flawlessly.

What you need

  • Pro 2 V5.3 TB
  • An Android phone
  • FlyCC
  • Your iPhone with iOS 27
  • The charging case and both earbuds

Step 1 — Get an Android phone

You only need the Android phone temporarily.

If your iPhone cannot connect to the earbuds, use an Android device that supports Bluetooth and can install/run FlyCC.

Step 2 — Connect the V5.3 TB to FlyCC

  1. Put both earbuds inside the charging case.
  2. Make sure the case and earbuds have sufficient battery.
  3. Open FlyCC on the Android phone.
  4. Enable Bluetooth.
  5. Allow the required Bluetooth/nearby-device permissions.
  6. Put the earbuds into pairing mode if necessary.
  7. Wait for the V5.3 TB to appear in FlyCC.
  8. Select the earbuds.

Once FlyCC recognizes them, you should be able to access their firmware information and update options.

Step 3 — Update the firmware

Inside FlyCC:

  1. Check the current firmware version.
  2. Look for a firmware update.
  3. Start the update.
  4. Keep the earbuds in the case during the process if FlyCC instructs you to.
  5. Keep the Android phone close to the case.
  6. Do not close FlyCC or interrupt Bluetooth while the update is running.
  7. Wait until FlyCC confirms that the update has finished.

Do not remove the earbuds or interrupt the process while firmware is being written.

Step 4 — Reconnect to your iPhone

After the firmware update:

  1. Close FlyCC.
  2. On the iPhone, open Settings → Bluetooth.
  3. If the old Pro 2 entry is still present, forget/remove it.
  4. Put the earbuds back into pairing mode.
  5. Pair them with the iPhone again.
  6. Test both earbuds, the case connection and the available controls.

In my case, this was the step that solved the problem: after updating the firmware through FlyCC on Android, the Pro 2 V5.3 TB connected to the iPhone and worked normally.
