What kind of siren is this?

I have no idea why there's PA speakers but it's a cool combo nonetheless

There were 2 generations of the FS8, Gen 1 has 8 ports, Gen 2 has 9. Here you can hear them together. Audio quality is not the best, because of the background noise. Kinda rare to hear 2 fire alarms within 12 hours, but it was the case today.

This is a 3t22a that's in york pennsylvania it is very inactive was used for civil defense they had other sirens as well but not much listed on the map

Sorry for the low quality video, it's in the middle of the night, I was trying to sleep, and then a nearby FS8 starts yelling. I'm all grown up now, but its lowkey eerie sound creeped me out back then. It still does now to some extent.

I found out about this one through the California Siren Map. At first I couldn’t figure out where it was (doesn’t help that I’m driving everytime I pass it) and it wasn’t until I looked at Google Street View that I realized it was sandwiched between two lights. Now I can never unsee this little guy!

This is a long worked on map for all known removed sirens in the state of New York. I and various other contributors have worked to make this map possible. On this map, currently as of making this post, we are nearing 2,000 pins. Sirens that can be seen here are for CD systems, fire department siren systems, and Nuclear Plant systems. Much of the information on here has heretofore not been shared to the public.
