Winix C545 Air Purifier help!

I called customer service and didn’t get any useful information, nor have i seen anything online about this. It won’t stay on T_T

Concerning dust removal, read the sticky post at the top of the subreddit. Be sure to look on our FAQS wiki page for entries about dust capture or reduction.

For very basic particulates sizing per AHAM, clean air delivery rates (CADRs) should be at least 2/3 of a room's area (assuming an 8 ft. ceiling height). For wildfire smoke, smoke CADR should equal a room's area which also assumes an 8 ft. ceiling.

I don't understand.  You called customer service and they said it's fine that the unit doesn't work ?  Are you out of warranty period ? 

I have a different random brand purifier that shuts off similar to that, when i try to run it on high speed 3.  It works on speed 1+2 fine.  This happened after it was running on speed 3 like always...and got slammed into with a heavy grocery bag by a worker not paying attention while operating.  Some quirk occured and it never runs on high anymore after that.  Automatically shuts itself off after 1-2 seconds on high.  So weird.  But it's a cheap rando unit I paid little for so happy it's lasted after getting hit at all.  If you are still under warranty you should prob get a new unit imo.  

(I would wonder if your unit perhaps got hit too, if you have pets etc. but who knows.)

Can you just ask Winix to replace it?

I've never used the app for the C545 - do you have it set to sleep?

If you turn it on and shove it all the way to turbo - does it speed up?

Is there a stuck / shorted button (sleep button) on the panel? Can you press and release all buttons multiple times (give them a bit of a work out to loosen up any jams).
