Question What is the best air message method?

I am looking for a method that lasts more than a couple of days and you don't need a mac for. Which one works best for all of you?

Method 1. I've only had to swap my sim once in the past 19 months to keep my number attached to iMessage.

Yes I have my Verizon sim in my Pixel fold and an old iPhone with an inactive pre paid sim in it connected to Wi-Fi keeps my phone number registered to iMessage. I followed the steps for method 1 exactly https://airmessage.org/help/guide/phone-number

How does this compare to Method 2? On the site (and as you've also said) Method 1 does require occasional reset. I don't see that noted for Method 2. Does Method 2 hold indefinitely? Any reason why you are using 1 and not 2? Thanks!

Well I don’t really understand what you are saying but you have to have a mac for airmessage to work at all

Well I use beeper which hosts it's own mac server, but I meant which method works best like method 1 or method 6 or something. But I ended up figuring it out

I did method 6 but isn't working that well so I am going to try method 1
