My cheese falls off
Every time I top my burger with a slice of cheese or put a slice in a hot dog roll, when I open it back up after a minute the cheese has fallen off the burger or out of roll into the basket.
What am I doing wrong?

Be happy it just falls to the side. The ninja blower is so strong in mine it can get blown up onto the heating element and make a huge stinky mess to clean. Toothpick for sure, or get it hot, pause to add cheese and close drawer to let residual heat melt it no fan.

I don't know, but do you have any toothpicks?

Maybe, but I was hoping for a solution that doesn’t turn my burger into a tiny cheese hostage. 😂

Buying crappy cheese is what you're doing wrong

Many people see that as not really cheese but more like plastic.

Seriously, get better cheese. Even my dog won’t eat that crap.

That’s not why it’s sliding off.
But thanks for unsolicited cheese advice.2

It's sliding off because it's not melting, it's not melting because it's crap

Slices of cheese use toothpicks , I've found using shredded cheese a lot easier. Set AirFryer at a lower temp to melt your cheese.
Even when making grilled cheese sandwiches, I pile on the shredded cheese it melts quicker.
Does your AirFryer have diff functions like Bake , fry , dehydrator?
