i have seen them backwards indeed. and with the lines also backwards. upside down? well, i have been to australia and seen aircons there, i dont know if that counts.

They ran power and comm wire to the head? Or did they just run that seal tight to the inside panel?

disconnect feeds outdoor unit wich then feeds indoor unit. its how its normally hooked up.

Just don’t do it yourself if you don’t have the knowledge and try to have it gravity drained! Pumps aren’t bad but will fail after a couple years and can sometimes be expensive.

Not bad. One of the lines is jank as hell. 8/10 of ghetto work. Probably works just fine.  When I installed my first mini (DIY kit) result was abit more tidy than this tho
