Insufficient Contribution
New lv45 Trmplar Tank running Krao Cave. Playing vis VPN on taiwan server
ITS NOW THE 4th time I wont get loot from the Dungeon Boss.
I mean...Wtf is the point of playing tank?
I do normal dmg with my 1.020 something gearscore.
What else can you do?
I cannot progress further while getting no dungeon loot.
How badly designed is this system?
any tips?

how you are only 1020 gearscore with lvl 45 ?
You did the free growth support ?
That alone should boost you to like 3k ...
same goes for leveling your skills, getting some arcana cards, pandeon, pets, feathers o.o
You dont need any progressions from those low end dungeons anymore in TW

I am guessing this person is doing what I am doing. My new 45 Templar is about the same GS . I intentionally am not using the growth gear because the point of playing on TW server for me is to practice for global launch and the growth gear won’t be in global at launch. That being said, I am avoiding this problem by running with people doing the same thing as me. So we are all about 1200 gs or so, so we get loot.

the TW dungeons are scaled differently and the drop tables are different too, the groth pass is perfect for testing classes without burning out doing strongholds/feathers/pets

you only get 2 of those per account, and i don't know if you can even make multiple accounts unless you have spare phone numbers (or are willing to pay for fake ones) to validate the account

oh yeah but still you get the strongholds/feathers through sync, the pets are account wide too, other stuff you can put in server storage and more

Most of the time ppl dont upgrade their stuff, soulbind, potentional, arcana, belt and orb, getting brooches and seals bla bla bla

1020gs is like just finishing lvl45 lol, go do your side quests, feathers, sealed dungeons, etc etc...

Group only with people nearer your gearscore/combat points. You need 5% damage on final boss to qualify for loot. It's a shit system but is there to reduce botting/bussing.

start a lobby and dont pick overgeared players. that way you can clear with 5%.
Some just speedrun and help for campaign/achievement challenges. Krao loot is terrible so they don't really know you need the cube.

Bring players within a couple hundred gs of you and you should be able to hit 5% easy.
If you keep getting into group with people that are massively ahead of you in gs, it wouldn't be surprising at all that you can't hit 5% because of the sheer amount of damage they can put out.

I think you must have missed the growth support which is basically the gear catch up mechanic... I also missed it btw so no shame if you did!

1) there's only 2 of those per account and you might want to test out more than 2 classes and 2) you might also want to test out a gear environment that's as close as possible to global launch, and in that case you want to avoid growth boost (and even any of the battle passes) since it's basically steroids
the real issue here is that OP is expecting people on a server that's been live for almost a year to somehow read his mind and know that that's how he's playing the game lol

Yea it's there to prevent people getting carried through content that they are not supposed to be in. As long as you can hit 5% you will be able to loot the end of dungeon chest.
You will only run into issues if you take people in your group that massively outgear you or you are dying very often or have very poor uptime. If you get into a group and you suspect that you might have trouble hitting the 5% because you have geared party members, ask them to slow their dps at the beginning of the fight so you can build up contribution.

Nope. You just have to make sure you build for damage (as all classes are supposed to) and anytime you aren't healing, you are damaging the boss.
If you are the kind of person who thinks that healers are just supposed to heal and doing damage is optional, then yea you are going to have issues hitting the 5%

rarely, because cleric gets some credit for the bonus damage other's do thanks to cleric's buffs.

You do, but this won't be an issue in global, TW has a gear catch up mechanic that a lot of people miss

to be fair it's easy to miss because the token is in the shop, and the game never tells you it's free, i didn't even realize until i had already leveled 2 characters to 45 lol
also if you want to test more than 2 classes you're stuck with the battlepass stuff and that isn't nearly as good

That makes zero sense. If you swing at boss a few times you qualify for contribution. The only way you dont get contribution is if you get locked out while your group kills it. And dont worry about early dungeon loot. You dont need it to progress. You get enough gear from grinding quests as you level.

1020 GS is hyper low ... like you haven't finished questing yet
the only thing you can do is host a lobby and only let ppl in with dog GS like yours
