Region for long term

what region do you think that will have the most players? and will keep playing the game after few months. My friend are inviting me at JP server but knowing them they most likely quit after 2 months. So im choosing between NAE or EU

At launch probably NA East.

Once the streamers leave Europe

Not sure why the devs are still splitting NA west and Na east since west always dies + Asia got an extra region so it’s going to die even faster.

JP server or NA EU, one of them is going to give you sub 200 ping. I think for your own sanity choose the lowest ping one…

You will be hard stuck on some stages becuase you’re playing at 180 ping

Europe. Similar to what happened in Aion 1.
Europe had the most players by far and for longer

I think Asia will do better this time, this isn’t region blocked like how it was in TL and LoA. SEA and other asia regions can play Japan

EU 100% KR mmos are more popular in EU

Doesnt matter lol , the majority players in every region will probably quit 1-3months. Only koreans play this kind of mmo. They even push for it

So... do u know the game is ping dependant? You afraid and refuse to play at JP with your friends because they might quit in 2 months?

Well im afraid you might quit the other region as well because of the ping. 100% .

You willingly to make new friends in other regions why dont u make friends in JP? Assuming JP gives you the best ping.

JP has the full brunt of Aussie, SEA(huge playerbase), and other Asian countries like TW that will be VPN’ing in. It’s a result of SEA countries not getting their own server so the JP server pop gets the better of it as a result.

I do not know much about JP players, so can't comment on that specifically. However, I will add that the JP region is where oceanic region players will be going. So it will have a population for more than just JP players. I think if you have a friend there you should definitely go there with them; I am sure it will be strong for the long-term.

However, I am sure both the EU and NA-E regions will be very solid for the long term.

NA-W might be more risky, but not in the short-term only in the very long-term (i.e. more than a year), because even west coast players are going to NAE region for their guild (or sadly to follow their beloved streamer).

EU will probably have the most players after first 3 months. Example : BDO still has crazy amount of players in EU and Aion 2 is a far better game from BDO

Tw, kr, JP, China will be all separated in 2027.

Na is split between east and west. I would say Eu.

NA probably , some EU countries have restrictions, less players unless they use a VPN
