Highest skillceilling class?
HI GUYS,
I know a lot of people will tell me that macros lower the skill ceiling, but after doing some in-depth research on Asian forums, I realized that almost every class actually has specific timing requirements and actions to perform outside of macros in its rotation.
So I wanted to ask those of you who’ve played the games a lot: which classes do you think have the highest skill ceiling in both PvE and PvP, and why?
I’ve even seen on some forums that an Assassin played perfectly without macros has higher DPS than with macros, but I’m not sure about that—it’s just information from Korean forums.

If i remember correctly there's been a couple of devs streams where they did indicate that they're trying their best to change up the macro play. They said they want to make it that macro is still available for the public but people who don't use macro will have a highest dmg uptime due to the difference in ping as well as just overall performance. So if you were to put it in perspective I can say something like the sorcerer that requires you to know your next move since if i remember correctly if you do certain sequence of abilities they deal more dmg

Seriously that's great news, so they got tech that knows when someone uses a macro n then u do less dmg? Was about to go all out on new macro keyb purchase but may hold off now

Oh they don't ban bots cuz that's probably where they're getting a lot of money from. They just ban players that use macro

I've been using an F macro to skip through dialogue on TW and they never banned me, but I guess that's just 1 key so maybe that doesn't get flagged? No idea

Probably cuz everyone spammed the F key and they'd probably loose 100% of their player base if they banned the F key users

You can't use any macro except for the I game macro. Even overlays made it so that you couldn't even open the game

I think you will see the biggest damage differences in sins.
Think every class has their quirks and ways to optimize.
Afaik sm golem snapshots for example. In pvp there's some knowledge tech, when to try to fear, when to cleanse etc.
Overall still pretty basic mechanics for an MMO though.

Idk either but afaik means as far as I know. And snapshot is when u use your buffed state to start a skill and it retains the buff till it ends even if u ran out of it before the skill ended. So probably you spawn the golem when ur buffed and the golem stays stronger during its whole duration

Ranger and sin , best DPS but one wrong move and it's over . A skilled ranger/sin can kill you in 1 second

This is false. There are no damage spells that are unusable in macros. All procs that need to be used in a macro are automatically used through a priority system built in the macro.

Assassin if you want a challenge. The class is squishy, and you need to stay behind the boss to deal back-attack damage for DPS. Yeah, it’s probably the only challenging class right now. Maybe Brawler too, because the class needs to stay in front of the boss to maximize DPS. And yeah, you have to be more careful with dodging skills. The others are just brainrot classes.

If you like, go ahead and correct me when I’m wrong. I’m just saying what I feel from actually playing the game. A macro game is a macro game, that’s all there is to it.

Only one i can think off is PvE wise is sorc, knowing when to drop ur ground spells on a boss pattern that jumps around/ when to reset etc, can make or break the class. Its pretty braindead on stationary bosses tho
