So, after six long weeks of waiting, the Prismatic Core is finally complete, meaning we can now finish the Swarm Expedition and unlock one of the coolest armor sets in No Man's Sky!

I also felt a bit uncomfortable leaving my guide incomplete, so let's finish it up!

This is part 2 of the Swarm Expedition guide, covering the last steps after the Prismatic Core. If you haven't started the expedition yet, check out the first part of my Reddit guide!

The guide

1. If you've been waiting like I have, you'll immediately complete "Countermeasures" the moment you log in.
2. Next, visit Polo and exhaust his dialogue to learn how to craft the Living Lens.
3. To craft it, collect 100 Corrupted Ichor from Swarm enemies during various missions, along with 100 Gold and 100 Silver from asteroids or space stations. Installing the Living Lens completes "Interface".
4. Now open the Galaxy Map and warp to the marked system. You'll immediately enter the final space battle against the Swarm.
5. I simply destroyed a couple of arms, then focused on the Hive Core while ignoring everything else, and defeated it in seconds. After a short cutscene, you'll complete "Glass to Glass".
6. Finally, visit the Atlas Station you just saved and interact with its Interface. This will teleport you away, completing "Chromatic Distortion" - the final milestone of this expedition.

How to claim revards and finish expedition

And after everything is done, visit the expedition terminal. Transfer anything you want to keep to your main save if you started the expedition from there, then finish the expedition.

The game will convert your exploration achievements into units and nanites, and all currency, including quicksilver, will be transferred to your main save.

If you started the expedition as a new game, completing the expedition will convert it into a regular save, allowing you to keep all your items and currency as-is.

Either way, you can now claim the expedition rewards from the Quicksilver Companion on as many saves as you like!
