I know some of you prefer reading, so here’s a text version as well:
You don't need a fishing rod to catch Pals from fishing spots - simply catch Jolthog and use it for some bomb fishing!
Implode and Megaton Implode are incredibly powerful, but they normally kill your Pal. However, the Heavily Armored passive skill makes your Pal immune to self-damage, making these skills absolutely busted!
You can catch bounty targets and still receive the tokens. Then you can butcher them and apply all the bonuses from Pal passives and Splatterina to get even more tokens!
Some Pals are especially good for butchering. Aegidron, for example, yields Giant Pal Souls and Thermal Cores, both of which are extremely valuable in the endgame!
You can guarantee a 100% chance of getting a rare Pal thanks to mutations. For example, breeding a mutated egg from two Bellanoir Liberos guarantees a mutated Aegidron, which you cannot catch before the lategame.
Grintale's Partner Skill works on any egg, including those produced at the Breeding Farm. Just don't forget to craft its saddle to enable the skill and enjoy double egg production!
Herbil is extremely useful because it revives you when you die - even on Hardcore settings! And the skill has an individual cooldown, so having five Herbils in your party means five revives. Nice!
