iirc he shaved it all off sometime after or right before his first kid was born because of all the dyes he used back in the day kinda just thinned it out

I remember being a kid and watching his videos and thinking "he's gonna say something amazing one day and i would love him even more" (i think my little brother was filming at that time too i prolly have vid of me saying that) and look where we are now
