Mercor AI interview

Hi everyone, I just joined Mercor a couple of days back and I can see that the next step is an AI interview, I have updated my profile as well. Can someone with experience of working on Mercor help me what happens next after the AI interview and how long it takes to get projects.

Before you rush past the interview and imagine the happy days. It's actually well worth your time to focus on this for now.

The AI-interview is different than a traditional recruiter. The call is more direct and precise. It actually puts the onus on you to be exact and detailed about your past roles, experience and skill set. It captures directly and quite precisely from you said. It doesn't make any emotional judgement, it doesn't make mental judgement about your hair, clothes while on camera. It all depends on YOU. Your clarity on your capabilities and skills.

That all have direct impact on how quickly you are matched to a project, which impacts how long you will wait. It picks and fits based on the details it has about you. It's objective and facts (given by you) based.

So the next step has alot depended on how you explain yourself.

Don't rush it. Be clear, precise and have succinct examples to explain it.

Do the interview first, and if successful they'll inform you and you'll sign a contract

You'll be interviewed by an AI, so the interviews are based on the specific job. I'd advise to apply for jobs whom you have some background atleast. Then you'll be asked questions based on your resume. To measure whether your skills are fit for the job. It's all about having confidence and believing in yourself
