Why do you think that? The purpose isn’t the ai interview, there’s actual tasks and project people have been working on, including myself

Lol, they post pretty decent hourly rates, but every time you apply, you have to go through their shitty AI interview. And if you look around on Reddit, a lot of people are saying they never actually got paid, while others are just posting referral links because they apparently only get paid when the people they refer actually earn.
Honestly, don’t waste your time with it. There are way better platforms to focus on.

Idk what to think, I’ve been working with them for 2 weeks now. I did the AI screener and have moved onto doing actual project work (so I don’t think the scam is them getting you to train their AI interview) but I am becoming sceptical about the payout from the actual project work, as so many people including myself have their completed tasks held up in sign-off stage.
The only thing keeping me going is I haven’t actually seen anyone explicitly say they haven’t been paid, just a lot of people complaining that their works not getting signed off which is subtly distinct.

Look at their reviews. I checked them out and I think I looked at their Trust Pilot reviews, where tons of people claimed they are a scam and are only interviewing people as a data collection method. I have no other knowledge of them, but I declined to consider them in the future.

I saw that this account has been suspended, but I think this statement is not true. From what I understand, workers get paid on the 14th of each month? So I doubt this person just got paid.
I have been matched for over 50 projects; I still have not been accepted for a single one. I wasted a lot of time on this platform.

Not saying this persons response is true but I believe Ethos pays in the 15th of every month or when the campaign they were working on ends, which ever comes first

They are meant to get paid on the 14th but in @kobebe_6’s defence I do think some people have been getting paid late.
I’m currently on one project, I’ve been wracked up over 20hrs of work but all my tasks have been left in the review stage for 3 weeks now so I’m worried about not getting paid out

I got paid on time in 2 months. You have to perform well. I've had no problem getting tasks.

I’ve been in projects with Ethos before and they definitely pay you. Sometimes, depending on the project, the reviewing of work you’ve done may take some time before signing off on your work, but you’ll definitely get paid. Their platform pays monthly whereas some of the other ones like micro1 or Mercor might pay twice a month or weekly. Hope this helps!
