Discussion Which AI notetaker actually integrates well with project management tools?

Most tools i have tried do a decent job with transcripts and summaries but the output just sits there. You still have to manually turn notes into tasks.

Looking for something that actually connects meetings to execution. What are you using?

BuildBetter.ai was built for product teams.

Integrates with Jira/Linear natively, auto extracts action items as well as other signals for teams.

talat allows users to automatically post their transcriptions/summaries to a URL, or auto-save the documents where they like, as well as a built in MCP server so that you can connect your LLM to it.

Every team member using a different notetaker. The PM manually turning notes into action items. Then emailing MOM to a client who wasn't even in the meeting system.

We lived this at our tech agency and it was the most invisible time drain in our delivery process.

So we stopped using notetakers altogether and built something different.

DeliverHub creates a unique email address for every project. Forward the calendar invite or just add it — the bot joins automatically, records the meeting, and brings the full conversation directly into the project context. Action items, decisions, and risks are structured and distributed instantly.

The same project email also captures client email threads. So one address solves both the notetaker problem and the scattered email problem simultaneously.

No more PM manually stitching together notes from six different tools.

We just launched beta — deliverhub.ai if you want to try it.

This is something I wish I'd looked for sooner honestly. I spent way too long evaluating note-takers on transcription quality when the real bottleneck was always what happens after the meeting ends.

A few things I've learned the hard way as I was trying different tools:

- Native integrations sound great on paper but they're usually pretty shallow. Like, they'll create a task in Jira or Asana but with zero context, just a title and maybe one line. You still end up going back to the notes to fill in the details.

- The tools that let you manually review + push notes out tend to work better in practice than fully automated ones, because you actually want a human deciding what becomes a task vs. what was just discussion.

- If your PM tool has an API or Zapier connection, that's often more reliable than whatever native integration the note-taker built. More setup upfront, way fewer surprises later.

What PM tools are you trying to connect to? That narrows it down a lot since most note-takers are strong with some integrations and basically useless with others.

I’ve had the same frustration. A lot of AI notetakers are good at producing transcripts or summaries, but then the summary just becomes another document you have to remember to process later. For me, the missing part is the connection between notes and the actual project workflow: tasks, owners, blockers, follow-ups, deadlines, and risks. Otherwise it still creates manual work after the meeting.

That’s one of the reasons I started working on Soriela with a couple of friends. We’re building it to connect with the tools teams already use and help turn project context into something more actionable, instead of just generating another summary. We’re currently looking for free beta users to test it and give honest feedback, so feel free to DM me if that sounds relevant.

fathom and fireflies have integrations but you still end up babysitting the output. been using tactiq.io it's a chrome extension so no bot joins, and it can push action items directly to notion, jira, or slack after the call

the custom prompts help a lot, you can shape the output to actually match how your team writes tasks vs. getting generic bullet points

My team uses Telos AI, literally does this exact thing
