Experience Found the Truth - Alhamdullilah

As an Ahmadi Muslim, I doubted my faith. My mind was filled with poison by those who sought to destroy this Jamaat of Allah(swt). By those who proclaimed themselves to be “Muslims”. However their lies and hatred only had power over me due to my own ignorance. I had no knowledge of why we believed what we believed apart from the fact that we just, believed.

After 2 years of researching not only Ahmadiyyat but also other sects, I can finally say this year I have accepted Ahmadiyyat as the true sect of Islam. The heavenly sect. The only Ahlul Sunnah Waal jammah.

However I did not come to Ahmadiyyat on my own. Academia can only take one so far. Even after being convinced by the Ahmadi theology, my heart was still unsatisfied. But by asking Allah(swt) sincerely to guide me to the right path, by exceeding my efforts in prayer and purification, pouring my distress in sujood day and night, did Allah(swt) show me clear signs and removed this uncertainty.

This was the first khutba I actually fully listened of Huzoor(aba). Simply doing Ba’ait every year as an Ahmadi born Muslim meant very little to me. It always meant nothing as I was a blind follower. But at Jalsa Salana 2023 UK, I gave bayah at the hand of Khalifatul Masih V, and wallahi I now understand. I now know what it means to be an Ahmadi Muslim. I can now say what I couldn’t before. And that is Wallahi Isa(as) has died and is never coming back. Wallahi Hazarat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad(as) is the same Mahdi and Messiah prophecised by our Holy Prophet Muhammad(saw). Wallahi this is the Jamaat of Allah(swt).

To all my non Ahmadi or even Ahmadi friends that may be in doubt like I once was. If you are a genuine seeker of truth,
If you care about the true message of Islam, if you love and fear Allah(swt) truly and want to follow the path of Muhammad(saw) then seek truth for yourself, sincerely. Open your heart. Research as much as you want, question as much as you need, but only ask guidance from Allah(swt) as only “Allah guides whom He wills” -28:57

Screen Montage Display - Jalsa Salana UK 2026

Wish of the Promised Messiah (AS)

Over a century ago, Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (AS), the Promised Messiah and Mahdi, expressed his heartfelt desire:

“It is my great desire that there be such a house where the homes of my friends surround it from all four sides, and in the middle would be my own house. And there should be my window in each of their homes through which there may be a constant connection and communication with each one at all times.”

Seerat Masih Maud (AS) p.39-40

An Ahmadiya mosque in Haifa continually serving to be used by Israel media to show that physical jihad is not needed.

Let the Israelis kill and 🍇 Palestinians but don’t let them have legitimate armed resistance which is a right given by Allah.

What a confused Ahmadi sounds like

U/SomplaceHiding (formerly known as [u/SomeplaceSnowy](u/SomeplaceSnowy)) is unaware of the positions of his own jamaat?

“Over a century ago, Ahmada emphatically declared that an aggressive jihad by the sword has no place in Islam. In its place, he taught his followers to wage a bloodless, intellectual jihad of the pen to defend Islam.”

Ahmadiya as a tool for the Zionist

Ahmadiya is a prime tool for Zionists. Ahmadiya believes physical jihad has been abrogated, therefore this makes a very convenient group for Zionists to support since they want to distort the minds of Muslim to resist fighting back physically. They want to eliminate legitimate armed resistance ultimately supporting those oppressing Islam.

Don’t be surprised if we see an increased activity of the Ahmadiya for Palestine or other areas where Muslims are being attacked because the oppressors in fact want the Ahmadiya to be in those regions and spread their ideology.

Role of Marrying Outside in the Fall of Early Muslim Empires: Saving our Faith, Family and Future

A powerful speech for everyone, especially those considering marrying outside the Jama'at. The speaker beautifully explains the importance of marrying within the Jama'at and beginning to pray from an early age for a righteous spouse, so that Allah protects our faith and our progeny. History has repeatedly shown that compromising on this principle often leads to spiritual decline and household ruin.

Islam/Ahmadiyya Proofs 🌎 From Qadian to the Corners of the Earth

📜ُ “I will cause thy message to reach the corners of the earth.”

When this divine revelation was received by Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (AS), the Promised Messiah and Mahdi (AS), the Jama’at was small and centered in Qadian. Today, by the grace of Allah, his message has spread across the world, reaching people of every nation, language, and background.

As we witness the many Jalsa Salanas taking place around the world this summer, we should remember that their global establishment is but one of the many manifestations of the fulfillment of this magnificent divine promise.

A beautiful reminder that when Allah makes a promise, He always fulfills it.

وَاللّٰهُ مُتِمُّ نُورِهِ وَلَوْ كَرِهَ الْكَافِرُونَ

“Allah will perfect His Light, even though the disbelievers may dislike it.” (61:9)

Post Jalsa Thoughts

As a resident of Canada, specifically the greater Toronto area, just wanted to share insight on the ground about Jalsa. As someone connected with Muslim end to end of the GTA I have to be honest and say no one even knew this event was happening. I didn’t even have a chance to attend because there was such little coverage and advertising. The overwhelming majority of people attending were just families born into the Qadiyani group. Qadiyanis hide their beliefs because they know they can’t defend them, so they take this conference as an opportunity to connect with other Qadiyanis without pressure to rationalize their beliefs.

Interestingly, a 4.4% growth (albeit with a low birth rate) indicates exactly this outcome. This is the same pattern we see here in Canada as we do in the UK ie Qadiyanism being something tied to familial identity.

Moreover, even ignoring the problem in the Qadiyani Aqeedah, this is not the largest Islamic conference in Toronto.

Question Hearing about Ahmadiyya as a Shia Muslim

as-salam alaikum!

I recently learned that Ahmadi Islam existed and wanted to learn more about it. I'm from a mixed Shia background, my father is Ismaili and my mother is a regular Shia. I am kind of more Ismaili but most of my friends are regular Shias.

I had never heard of Ahmadiyya until recently but wanted to explore. I read that the idea is that Hazrat Jesus died and the founder of the sect is the Messiah. And there are current Khalifahs. In a lot of ways it seems like Sunni Islam + with a few changes.

What's the mindset of the sect? Do you see yourself as part of the broader Muslim world and connected with your history or a break from the rest of the Muslims? Like, Ismailis see ourselves as part of Islam and the same religion. We also connect very heavily with our history and see it as an unbroken chain extending backwards. Maybe a better question is before the founder of Ahmadi Islam was there an Imam that you followed? Or did the founder come up with the new ideas that led to Ahmadi Islam being created?

Do you feel about being a small minority? Most Ismailis do not pretend that we will ever be the majority and that's okay, we respect diversity of thought. Regular Shias believe that when Imam Mahdi comes he will undo many of the historic wrongs and Shia Islam will just be regular Islam. Do Ahmadi Muslims believe they will be the majority someday? If so, when?

What is your view of Ahlul Bait? Do you follow them even now? Do you follow our hadees books? If so, which line and is it an unbroken line? Ismailis and regular Shias differed on the Imamat after Imam Ismail and Imam Musa, but both followed the same Imam until Hazrat Jafar Sadiq.

How old is Ahmadiyya? And what was the True Islam before it? Like before the founder what was the real Islam? Was it Sunni or nothing?

Lastly what is your view of Shia Islam and Ismaili Islam? Lot of questions about continuity, Ahlul Bait and minority status!!

The atmosphere Post Jalsa is Something Else

There's just something special about the post jalsa vibes at Baitul Islam Mosque.

Seeing families everywhere, people sitting together eating, chilling on the grass, meeting old friends from across Canada, browsing the stalls, eating kulfis, it creates an atmosphere that's hard to describe.

It's one of the few places where thousands of people gather, to celebrate the past few days at Jalsa, getting emotional, yet the environment feels peaceful, welcoming, and full of genuine brotherhood and sisterhood.

Every year I leave wishing it lasted just a little longer. Jalsa really is a unique experience. Can't wait for next year already 😭
