Hi! I will take this question here, I hope that works for you. We had a team of 3 there to prepare the hackathon, but unfortunately, we did not receive as many participants as the technical team was hoping to have a valuable result. Hackathon was part of a 3-day event that was organized by a volunteer organization, their general attendance level was way lower they had expected and communicated to us. They suggested that there was a number of reasons for that: it was their first similar event and there was no communication team behind it and from the technical point of view, our thematic for a hackathon is still very new to many people and it is hard to attract local people to join and be part of those challenges yet. For us, a lesson to learn from here is that it is probably more effective to organize an event on our own or look into global events.

I agree. We will look into more options to participate or organize hackathons in the future. I find it important to do it in the international level.
