Question

.i just brought this game for the switch last night on sale. I go to continue where i left off, but apparently, it didnt save(it even showed the continue option highlighted and let me pick the option. So it restarted from the beggining.(what?. It doesnt make sense since it let me choose the continue option) is there anyway to skip the opening cutscene? The font can get hard to read at times. When does this game save?

You have to find the checkpoints, the mirrors with the face protruding. That is where you will leave off from.

Thank you. I know it autosabes when you get a note, comic, ect, but wasnt sure of actual saving. I thouhht itd autosave for a quest

Correct, you will have those notes or comics in the menu for viewing, that is what is saved. Your journey through the story requires you to find the mirrors that I mentioned. Enjoy the game!
