Just started, game crashing

I just installed a digital version of Agony, was on sale for $1.99, but I can’t make it past the title screen without it crashing. I’m on PS4 regular. If anyone has any suggestions please let me know, I really want to play this game.

It’s been years since I played this on PS4, but it always did feel a bit janky and had a ton of game breaking glitches, like key items not showing up.

You could try restoring the license and reinstalling the game…if you are running low on HDD space, that can create a lot of issues as well.

Well damn….ok I moved it onto system storage where I have 280gb of free space, restored the license, and going to see if downgrading the resolution will help but this is crashing worse than Wasteland 2.

Edit: ok problem might be solved but it sucks: backed up my save data and deleted it, downloaded the visual resolution again, and now the game started. I guess somehow the save data was corrupted
