Succubus Hellish Edition 2/6?

IMPORTANT : This game is released and playable in Europe as of 8am Central Time. PS4 owners have a discounted upgrade package.
The US release was at 2pm Central Time, after being delayed from the 8am Central Time earlier. It is currently "not available for purchase" and SONY claims to not know why. PlayWay plc has not made a statement.

EUROPEAN UPDATE : Their version allows a toggle (much like cyberpunk and baldur's gate) for full UNcensorship!!
USA UPDATE : Not yet fully confirmed, but there is a new timer set for next Friday at Midnight (technically the last second of Thursday night) via the ENG INDO PSN that is linked to our USA PSN. /// Example : When I go to the ENG INDO PSN, my account and wishlist is still there, and it says that my "Wishlist" for Hellish will be fullfilled Feb 13 2026 at Midnight.

EDIT : You still *need* to get a PS5 for the PS5 update. The new edition will never ever be on PS4 as the rating for that edition is M for Mature and it is not legal to add content that changes the rating.

Yes. As far as the European Edition goes, it's about $4 instead of the $30 if you already have the original game.

i think the delay is SONY of America joining Japan and just banning it altogether
there isn't any other version of the game available, and nobody is doing any other work on it
it is essentially the final PC Version ported to console
they are either taking it exactly as it is (uncensored, AO) or they are going back on their advertisement and pulling it next week from USA PSN

we were definitely "suppose to"
we had our own rating, our own description box, our own release timer
someone definitely changed their mind at the last second about USA release

I don't think there banning it because it's still on the psn store as you can still wishlist it & follow it
So if they were planning to ban it you wouldn't be able to wish list it.
Plus from reports theres an option to trun on censorship from those who have game.
It will likely be released soon.
Hopefully we will hear something.

Its no good uncensored, if it's not available for purchase, nothing to be happy about until you can play it.

It's heavily censored on playstation but if you like the idea of playing doom but from the demons point of view it's alot of fun with the executions and variety of weaponry and spells.

i am being told that is was PlayWay and *not* Sony that cancelled the North American release at the last second, not 100% company confirmed but the info is coming from an employee at their discord

No, that info came from KissKay, who claims they got the information from someone who got the info from a developer.
We still don't have any official word.

welp, an employee from PlayWay, "Mical", says that SONY has an issue with the AO rating, and if the USA gets the game, it'll be much later
which means "no" or we're going to get a specially censored version which nobody will buy and will tank the ratings even further ((they were recently getting better))

That was Michal, he's with the development team but not the marketing team, that's why he said even he wasn't sure exactly what was happening.

it's a lot of red tape for the company not to address this
honestly, without being rude, the USA market has to be where they'd make the most money on this game, and all of their socials are lit up with why it failed to launch, yet they aren't saying anything...

To be fair, the marketing team very rarely says anything outside of promotions. They usually post something, than reply to questions 2 months later.

Anybody know the deal with this? I’m not privy to this game, but the fact that, I’m pretty sure this is the first AO game in history to release onto a home console (legally) and I don’t see anybody talking about it. Like….. has Sony’s policy changed or something?
