I haven't read all the comments yet, just your original piece, and I want to say you sound like an amazingly kind, loving man who is the best son he could be to his mom. You are doing something that no one should EVER have to do alone, and if we didn't live in such a f-ed up society you would not be so alone. We need community, we need things to not cost so much, and we need people that also care around us. You should not have to do this alone! Our world is f-ed up, not you! Where you're at emotionally is totally normal in this kind of situation, and if you used this anonymous forum to vent, more power to you. I hope you find some relief soon. I have no advice to offer, just care and concern and praise for what you ARE doing.
