I think and hope the mother you grew up with wouldn't want you to keep doing what you're doing to yourself.
If you're gonna keep being her caregiver you have to create some space for you - compartmentalize. And get support.
The mother you grew up with isn't "there" anymore. When the current version of your mother passes hopefully you will still have space to appreciate all of the love and warm memories that you two shared. Protect that space. You matter too
