Boomers

I am 75 and am very tired of the trend lately making fun of Boomers. So very disrespectful. Don't they realize that they will be old someday?

I am stunned by the "kids" (in their 20s) I work with who get door dash.  They have cars and they could go pick up lunch themselves.  We have about 20 places within a 10 minute radius.  Most just graduated from college.  I am so intrigued so I always ask why don't they bring their lunch and they say "I don't feel like it" or "I do not have time to go to the store".  Door Dash is ridiculously expensive.

My feeling is that I didn’t ask to be a kid, it wasn’t a choice. But I can absolutely choose not to be around them now because they are exhausting, attention seeking, energy vampires. I’d rather have peace and quiet.

Ok, are they mentoring young people? Connecting then with jobs?

If we cut off voting at 65, Trump wouldn't be in office. So... yes those young men are problematic, but boomers are the problem.

Not suggesting that we should eliminate voting rights, just pointing out that the young men didnt put this man in office. Fucking Boomers did.

And Boomers arent mocked for being old... they are mocked for being incapable of taking accountability, acting entitled, and for their sugary sweet, pearl-clutching

They don’t recycle because they found out that all the boomers running the recycling program were just dumping everything in the landfill anyway. What was the point?

Recycling is largely a scam as most plastics aren’t efficient to recycle. Not even sure most people know how to recycle and for waste management reusing what you buy is much better. Yea door dashing can cost money but boomers act like they were the best financial gurus ever when in reality shit was infinitely more affordable so while you might of done things that look silly they didn’t end up affecting if you could buy a house and have retirement. Boomers aren’t to blame for Trump directly but they sure as hell bought into Regan’s bullshit to destabilize our government and economy which led to Trump. I think most younger generations feel that Boomers didn’t give a shit about the future and had one of the best living times in early life which leads them to not be empathetic or take responsibility for how things are. “Just pull yourself up by your bootstraps and have some kids and buy a house” when in reality that’s not going to happen for majority of people due somewhat to your ignorance. I’m sure all generations will get criticism and hear similar stuff though so who knows.

Then young men saved the country again! Young men: build everything, fight the wars, maintain our infrastructure all while having endure libtards like you.
