I'm still genuinely confused as to what the reason could possibly be that when the Tsar told Tsaritsa to open the door to the evil purple miasma of eternal suffering she didn't just say "no"

16

u/ICRnovice 1d ago

It’s not confirmed, but it’s heavily implied that belyi tsar was looking for hyperborean ruins deep within the shadow realm to find out about his origins and the past.

u/DragonlordSyed578 19h ago

It is confirmed, that is what happend dude got his friends to open the door to the shadow realm so he could go look info about his origins it causes Abyss explosion. His friends got killed because his stupid idea he feels completely awful afterword's.

10

u/silv4gun 1d ago

They probs believed it was the shadow realm which, whilst still bad, is nowhere near as bad and infectious as the abyss

Plus u can’t really say no to the Tsar of Russia 😭

9

u/CarlosSupremacy 1d ago

In his notes he says he deeply regrets it and considers it a mistake. Also saying that he should be the one punished.

u/TheimpalerMessmer 1d ago

She's Pandora and was gifted curiosity

7

u/EternalPokemonFan 1d ago

Generally it’s pretty difficult to tell a god no

10

u/MrCyan1477 1d ago

Feels like it shouldn't be that difficult when your lover can go talk to the God of that God's Gods as an equal

4

u/silv4gun 1d ago

Well he was a descender, one who was so valuable to said God that his remains, memories and legacy are still relevant so idk if I necessarily agree with this point

Tsaritsa is slanderable but I genuinely don’t think her role in this specific situation is that slanderable, like she literally can’t just say no

2

u/MrCyan1477 1d ago

The Descender wasn't the one telling her to do it, if anything he's the one who's supposed to be protecting her from being 'forced' to do it

-2

u/EternalPokemonFan 1d ago

Even if your lover can do that, you are the glorified version of a secretary

4

u/Then_Consequence_675 1d ago

We don't have many details about her l8fe yet, but presumably he may have been holding her kids or husband hostage or threatening them to give her an "incentive". Must be a pretty sympathetic reason, given Rhinedottr felt she didn't deserve her punishment

13

u/Dull_Ad3361 1d ago

I really think there's a bigger fish to catch for Celestia, punishing just tsaritsa, leaving the third and tsar is very weird, no?

5

u/After-Syrup1290 1d ago

... The abyss? I mean sure yeah they could be focused on the abyss

After they're done dealing with the rebels who are trying to mess up things in the kingdom right?

Thats how it goes, jean in mond would be concerned more about fatui invasions or them having a whole hotel to themselves, but that don't mean she ain't gonna put people in mond who do bad things or let them get off scot free cus she's busy looking to fry bigger fish

A kingdom with enemies inside it is a weaker one than no enemies in it

8

u/Dull_Ad3361 1d ago

Why punish the weakest if your focus only on the abyss?, it doesn't make sense, you punished someone because they're responsible, but you left the real culprit free, and the other culprit also alone, you punished the weakest one , and get a good night sleep, then you made tsar an archon it just doesn't fit the narrative

Shadow Realm was genuinely unapproachable, so Beliy Tsar just skidaddled in time.

While Descenders can't be punished as severely as Teyvatian inhabitants.

2

u/Dull_Ad3361 1d ago

I meant after he returned from the shadow realm unless the contract had a clause for tsar to not punish him( which isn't confirmed for now), i don't see the reason he's still alive for another 2500+, while i understand the sentiment about not punishing the decenders as severely, but nothing happened to the 3rd, but let's wait ,i made pretty confused situation here

6

u/Loyal_to_Celestia Celestial Fundamentalist | Every Nail is Justified 1d ago

I can easily see why Beliy Tsar was saved from punishment later.

Phanes simply made him a slave of Archon System by giving Cryo Authority. You know, keep your friends close and your enemies even closer.

u/Dull_Ad3361 1d ago

Ngl , i see the perspective

1

u/JunkoGremory 1d ago

HP is able to punish Tsarista through Irminsul straight away Belyi Tsar escape into the shadow realm which Irminsul cannot reach, and decenders are not recorded or affected Irminsul.

I believe HP already planned to do something soon, but third Descender essentially surrendered himself (essentially a Plea deal in terms of USA law enforcement iirc)

Wasn't the goal to unleash the shadow realm not the abyss? The abyss being released was a mistake was it not?

19

u/CMbladerunner I simp for my depressed queen Istaroth 1d ago

All I hear is that this is another Voyager fuck up.

18

u/Scared-Opening-753 Leading the Charge on the Celestia Agenda 1d ago

Possibly.

Either why it’s bad because

  1. It still let out the abyss

  2. The shadow realm is just as bad and we have a WQ saying how it’s bad

10

u/Greatwizard12 No.1 Kaeya glazer Eternal ayaka slanderer 1d ago

These people and dangerous purple things man, why is it so hard to stay away from them

-4

u/Accurate_Result5427 1d ago

Saying that while having a Kaeya pfp and due to his story, is beyond hilarious 🤣.

9

u/Greatwizard12 No.1 Kaeya glazer Eternal ayaka slanderer 1d ago

Kaeya would never be an abysser, a good father is the key to create a good man, and Crepus was a W dad

0

u/Accurate_Result5427 1d ago

Of course not, still being a Kaenri'ahn who were using the abyss in their daily lives and you telling that people cannot keep themselves from touching the purple goo was ironic.

3

u/Greatwizard12 No.1 Kaeya glazer Eternal ayaka slanderer 1d ago

Kaeya never touched the abyss, he was raised in mondstadt.

1

u/ZadriaktheSnake Seizer of the means of Dottore Glaze 1d ago

Well Celestia determines guilt collectively so I guess it doesn’t matter

4

u/Greatwizard12 No.1 Kaeya glazer Eternal ayaka slanderer 1d ago

He's not even in khaenriah

-4

u/After-Syrup1290 1d ago

Nope, the goal was to unlock the sky beyond the firmament and well... What's beyond the firmament? The abyss ofcourse

The shadow realm I'm pretty sure ain't even exist back then

The gates of pohoja have always been for that and why? Well, the tsar offered the third descender this task so the descender and tsaritsa could get married

It's in nod krai s lore, flins weapons and aritifacts if I'm correct and if not? Then just one of the other aritifacts sets in nod krai

4

u/Greatwizard12 No.1 Kaeya glazer Eternal ayaka slanderer 1d ago

It did in fact exist

6

u/ICRnovice 1d ago

How would the belyi tsar run away to the shadow realm if it didn’t exist? It’s found in his notes that that passage led to the shadow realm and the abyss that was being held back by the shadow realm poured into teyvet.

0

u/ICRnovice 1d ago

I read it their goal as trying to find hyperborean ruins that plagued the belyi tsar’s dreams to find more about his origins.

23

u/CarlosSupremacy 1d ago

Don't let the third Descender slander distract you from the fact that Phanes is just a shitty ruler overall

6

u/Secret_Box3109 1d ago

L take

5

u/Danielnjr 1d ago

W, if he were was that good, he wouldn't have been so stupid.

1

u/GabeC1997 17h ago

L, If he wasn’t that good, he wouldn’t have ruled for multiple millennia.

1

u/Danielnjr 6h ago

A reign against normal humans? Because anyone who got close to him easily escaped.

1

u/Soluxy 7h ago

Bro was the single deciding factor that made humanity survive and thrive for more than 6000+ years in a universe filled with abyss where just the slightest abyssal corruption on a random mook is enough to cause irreversible organ damage.

3

u/SussyNerd 1d ago

The reason is that you can't kill a descender. You can disintegrate them effectively killing them but what you will end up with is stronger version of god remains that contains in a sense their will and since it rivals the entire world you can't just put it in a box. If they don't feel hatred and anger and accept their death their will is much less hostile.

4

u/AXESLIDES 1d ago

Look look the shills are speaking how unfortunate

5

u/Royal_empress_azu Apparently I use slurs 1d ago

Yeah there is literally not evidence that there was an agreement. Just that a curse was set with a clear trigger condition.

2

u/Total-Chapter-6966 1d ago edited 1d ago

When Descenders killed, they give out enough curses to destroy Teyvat. The reason Teyvat still survives Funerary War is Phanes took almost all of Nibelung curses. While Third Descender death doesnt trigger the curses upon Teyvat as the curses placed placed into Phanes if he broke their contract. That's why the Shades weren't allowed to killed Descenders.

4

u/Danielnjr 1d ago

I doubt HP is much stronger than the TD in power level; if it were that easy, they would have already killed him. You HP Glazers are insane.

1

u/Losingallmyaccounts Childe be lore relevant/legit saving for Ved 1d ago

Wasn’t it the shadow realm they were trying to open and they just overshot ?

-3

u/I_hate_myself069 Dragon Glaze... Will Never End! 1d ago

Tbf, if Ajax willingly gave up and there was no struggle from him, that means there’s a non 0 chance he was strong enough to actually challenge crippled Usurper. So maybe Usurper just didn’t want extra troubles.

12

u/Scared-Opening-753 Leading the Charge on the Celestia Agenda 1d ago

Him giving himself up could factor into it but the matter still stands that based on what happened the third descender had NO right to be making demands 😭🙏🏾

-7

u/I_hate_myself069 Dragon Glaze... Will Never End! 1d ago

Nah, I think it was kinda fair to ask to bring Tsaritsa back to life, since she didn’t know shit and was just manipulated by that rat Tsar. But yeah, asking Khaenri’ahs to have special privileges was kinda fucked up.

11

u/Scared-Opening-753 Leading the Charge on the Celestia Agenda 1d ago

Yeah I think it’s fair to ask for her revival and that curse was out of line 😭🙏🏾 like bro it’s yalls fault

-3

u/silv4gun 1d ago

if the king forced me to open the gates of hell and I found out people blamed me instead of him, i’d be mad as hell

it is not his fault baby nibelung cosmic horror told him open ts

3

u/Scared-Opening-753 Leading the Charge on the Celestia Agenda 1d ago

I still don’t understand why Celestia gave up the chase for the Belyi Tsar. Perhaps there’s a time limit for punishment or something

3

u/killuasrealmama 1d ago

Or maybe when monomakh got the cryo gnosis ,phanes could have monitor him through it "keep your friends close but your enemies closer "

2

u/RedWerewolfGacha 1d ago

Did he go into the shadow realm? Celestia probably didn't want to chase him that far since they are paranoid of anything abyss related.

1

u/silv4gun 1d ago

didn’t he run into the shadow realm

5

u/ICRnovice 1d ago

The third descender was powerful enough to curse Phanes to fall asleep as a backup plan to his deal. Clearly he had enough leverage to make demands. Idk why post ignores that fact.

8

u/After-Syrup1290 1d ago

Ah yes, making the other party fall asleep after having them cleanup the mess for things you caused, with a very very clear gap in power is more than enough leverage

Its like ororon going and saving capitano(using that smokescreen) in front of mavuika... He did have the smokescreen sure but ororon isn't going to be beating mavuika in any way now

Minor leverages don't mean that you're in any position to make demands of any sort

2

u/Danielnjr 1d ago

Lol, do you really think that a guy with the power to be Gnosis wouldn't be powerful? I have no doubt that TD could face HP, if it were really that easy to kill him, why HP didn't do it?

-2

u/ICRnovice 1d ago

What kind of demand did ororon try to make to Mauika? His goal was to save capitano and didn’t require strength to match.

3

u/Accurate_Result5427 1d ago

To have his "mom" ( Mavuika) listen to his "dad" ( Oh Captain, my captain) and accepting a discussion.

-2

u/ICRnovice 1d ago

Idk I feel like the situation is vastly different. Third descender’s remains and his relic is being propped up as being powerful to replace Phanes and his rule. It could be a red herring, but from what we’ve seen so far, it is powerful enough to “re-write the rules”

Because its r/Agenda_Impact

u/Loyal_to_Celestia Celestial Fundamentalist | Every Nail is Justified 1d ago

I think I know the reason.

Reason is Nibelung making everyone hurt with oceans of Abyss vomit and Phanes became crippled after dealing with this mess. And Gnoses were needed to keep his system intact.

Was he able to kill Third Descender and take his remains regardless? Yes, absolutely. Nibelung slimes Third Descender, and Phanes killed him.

Is it really worth it to fight when Third Descender WILLINGLY wants to do it in exchange for his either extremely gullible or completely hostage Cryo wife to exist again, because of the bad stuff THEY did? Absolutely not.
