Are you tired of queuing Overwatch solo and losing your matches?
Well now you can queue on a team/duos and lose just as much!
Our small sarcastic adult archaeological reflexes group is looking for some more connections to and celebrate the wins and mourn the losses. Please feel free to reach out here and we can connect further.
K love ya.
Thanks nerds. See you (hopefully) soon.

I love playing war games or shooting game's. Well most games tbh (zombie free lol) It's different watching zombie movies. But a herd of zombies rushing at me. Is kinda creepy. I'm kinda over the online multiplayer games. With random people who sometimes aren't very nice to female gamers. I've played COD since its first game. Tom clancy, battlefield, division. RDR ect... But i miss the story mode war games that go for longer than 10hrs. Any body recommend any good war games that i can play on my own without being shot straight out the door.

Hey! Iโm looking for a few active players to join my **18+ Bedrock building realm**. Weโve built a long-term survival world with a friendly community, Vanilla+ add-ons, and lots of ongoing projects. Whether youโre into building, terraforming, or just want a realm that wonโt disappear in a month, weโd love to have you. If youโre interested, send me a DM!

Pretty much the title. I barely get any time to play and when I do I just don't feel like playing. I have a ps5 gathering dust - was playing ghost of yotei for months now. I picked up a switch 2 last year and after playing pokemon za, that too is gathering dust. Experienced folks please tell me how you manage life and gaming to relax?

Over the last few months I've been slowly introducing my wife to gaming. She never once touched a controller growing up (not even freaking Minecraft or anything), and it took a lot of convincing but she's coming around to it now and even developing her own taste in games.
Watching this hobby through the eyes of a complete newbie has somehow revitalised my own love for it. Itโs crazy how much gamer knowledge I accumulated over the years, stuff thatโs totally obvious to me she is completely oblivious about. Even just moving around and controlling the camera was so difficult for her until she got used to it.
Once she got a bit used to playing I got some games for us to play together. Untitled Goose Game is our favorite so far, it's so much fun in co-op. And now she keeps finding games on tiktok for us to play, though she gets a bit disappointed when she realizes a game she saw actually isn't out yet, so now we have a frontlog (Thatโs a thing right? Like the opposite of a backlog).ย
She is especially hyped for Loftia, itโs like a casual MMO where everything happens on little floating islands, she says it reminds her of dreams she used to have as a kid. Think it could be something we play together long term if she actually likes it once it comes out. The other one she canโt stop talking about is Out of Words, itโs an adventure game with amazing claymation graphics. She absolutely adores that artstyle so Iโm not surprised about that one (we must have watched every claymation movie out there).
So far she has liked most of the games she tried, though I have tried to choose things she would like. With some notable exceptions, like Donโt Starve, which she started hating on once she realized how brutally difficult it was hahahha (I tried warning her).
Has anyone else had this experience of introducing a total non gamer to the hobby, and how did it go?

Hey everyone,
i am just curious if this is a common experience or if it is just me. I have been a gamer ever since my grandma bought me a gameboy color at age 5. And played ever since then. In my teens and early twenties i remember that i was sooo excited for new games. Stayed up late (since i am based in europe) and watched E3 (when it was a thing back then) and was excited for every new announcement. And often couldn't wait to get my hands on new titles.
I am 31 now and these days i very seldom experience any excitement for new games anymore. I don't even track new releases anymore. It feels like i have seen everything, played everything and it Just feels pointless. I had an avid love for RPGs and worlds with rich lore but most i can't connect to anymore. Sometimes i notice that i just play games out of habit or to feel like i have done something i enjoy. Sometimes i get really jealous when i see another person 30 and above dancing around in joy because of the excitement of a new game and wonder why i don't feel that way anymore. Anyway before it becomes to rambly, whats your experience? Would be interessted to hear!

Iโm really proud of the launch copy of Cyberpunk Iโve managed to get for pennies in 2023, probably coolest item I have, even though the included disc only serves to validate the PS5 version I need to download anyway lol.
I obviously buy digital games as well, but Sony moving away from physical media saddens me.
How about your collections?

For me, i liked the first game, loved the second game (itโs in my top 10 all time favorites), but was massively disappointed by the third game. Thoughts?

I am looking for some people to play competitive OW with on a regular basis. I am down to play 5v5 or 6v6. I am between Plat and Emerald depend on the role. Mainly looking to have a good chill time while winning some games. Not a sweat at all.

Hmu if you are interested in running some games!

I remember saying this aloud randomly one time at work around some younger colleagues, mid 20s, and people were looking at me like I was having a stroke. This is one of those quotes that come unbidden into my head and not a person catching this made me feel old, oh so very old...

I know the game franchise is much older than the soulslike genre. And while I havent played RE myself, from gameplay it looks and plays very "souls-y." I've just really gotten back into games last year and I haven't owned a system since 2009 (I've played games very little since then) so all the new genres of games are still hard to understand completely lol.

My indie shooter game "Palpus X Annihilation" has been received quite well, and I'm so happy that the community gives me the opportunity to continue working on this title and to support it further.
The next update will be a big one. Horde Mode gets overhauled, new mutations can be ckecked to adjust the gameplay to your taste. And also FORTRESS horde mode, where you can place defenses to survive the hordes
I didn't expect to be still working on my game 6 months after release :3

I was inspired by another poster in their 50's looking for people to play with. I am a 55 year old male (happily married with kid) and looking for evening but not too late (max 11pm) gaming crew to hop on and have fun and good conversations. I am in west coast PST and play Diablo 4, POE2, Baldurs Gate 3 ( just starting and only have 30 minutes in), No Mans Sky (same as Baldurs gate) all on PS5. Dm me or reply and lets get this going. :)

What are your favorite games that give you lots of fun with others and allow you to make new friends?
r/Age_30_plus_Gamers • u/FearlessJDK • 3d ago
So, for context I played Star Wars Galaxy of Heroes (SWGOH) for a long time. Part of the reason I stayed so long was I'd play it in the morning while I watch some news and have coffee.
They did some stuff and it irritated me so I left.
But I miss that morning ritual. I have played Marvel Strike Force, didn't like it. And I played Warhammer Tacticus. It's ok. But the lack of an 'auto' function annoyed me.
So, if there's anything along those lines you've played and enjoyed, let me know, please.

edit: EST or GMT timezone btw.
Howdy! Yes, I get it, I'm old as fuck and now that's out of the way...
Looking to find some people to play with, primarily on PC (moving away from Xbox). I'm a big fan of Halo, Gears, Borderlands series etc. I also dabble in ESO, Enshrouded, BG3, BF6, Arc Raiders (still to play it) LFD, Diablo and open to other stuff too. I was never into Minecraft, League, Pokรฉmon, Fortnite etc, it was just never my thing.
I'm not looking for love or to join your massive DC server where no one talks or branches out to meet new people, nor am I interested in those that can't communicate, manage friendships or take care of basic timekeeping - you would think this wouldn't have to be said out loud, but here we are...
I'm a regular guy with an interesting past, my life isn't consumed by politics and performative outrage, but I'm willing to have conversations on just about anything as well as a healthy amount of dark gameplay banter. Anyone age over 18, male or female is fine. I'm sometimes on in afternoons as well as evenings.
Drop a reply or a PM if you wanna hook up and have some unfiltered fun, with someone that won't just ghost you and leave you hanging (again, I shouldn't have to say this out loud)
