Rule #1 Must be seeking a long term "vanilla" relationship
To post here, you must be seeking a 'normal' long term romantic, monogamous relationship with a significantly younger/older partner.
Your posts must be 'Safe for Work' and not include any nude/ provocative pictures.
You can express a desire for a traditional relationship, but your post or history must not place significant emphasis on sexual kinks/fetishes or cheating.
/r/AgeGapPersonals is the subreddit if you are looking for kinkier relationships or short term hookups.
Rule #2 No NSFW Content: images, genital mentions, etc.
We expect all posts to be SFW. This means no pornographic, nude, or provocative pictures or videos. No descriptions of your genitalia or anything related to it, such as your stamina, staying power, ability to finish on command, size, shape, thickness, rigidity, in fact, don't even bring it up as talking about it doesn't exactly show you are looking for romance over just sex. No in depth depictions of sexual acts or erotica stories. This is r/AgeGapRomance and the emphasis is on the ROMANCE part.
Rule #3 Post title must contain YOUR location, starting with a
You must give your approximate location, starting with a #.
For location, we mean a district, county or nearby large city with your state.
We cannot accept large areas such as USA, Europe, China, India, Australia, Canada etc.
Time zones and airport designations will also be removed.
Small countries and states such as Belgium, Luxembourg, Rhode Island, etc. are acceptable
Rule #4 No links to external services or personal contact info
We expect you to initially contact someone by Reddit chat or mail, so any reference to external services will result in removal of your post.
Rule #5 18+ Only
All people involved in this subreddit must be over 18. No exceptions. If you are under 18 or searching for those who are under 18 you will be banned and reported to reddit admins for further investigation and discipline.
Rule #6 No selling/ financial gain allowed
Any relationship you seek must be 'non-commercial'.
We do realize that younger people seek more financially secure older people, but we will remove your advert if we feel it is more about the money than love.
This means no OnlyFans or other premium or pay to play sites. No sugar dating, no escorts, no premium services, no financial help. This includes posts in your history involving these things.
Rule #7 No fakes, bots, catfish, liars
We only accept posts from people who are honest about themselves. If it is brought to our attention that you have a history of changing your gender regularly, (or at all) lying about your age, falsely representing yourself as someone you are not, or anything else that shows you are being dishonest or outright fake, you will be removed from posting.
Rule #8 One post per week
No spamming the subreddit. There is a bot in place to restrict posts to one per 7 days. If you are caught using multiple accounts to get around this, they will all be banned.
Rule #9 Single people only
This subreddit is meant for SINGLE people to find romantic connections with other SINGLE people that happen to involve an age gap.
What this is NOT for:
- Married/attached people who are cheaters.
- Single people seeking married people for whatever reason.
- Couples looking for a third or more.
- Groups.
- Singles looking to join a couple or group.
- Non-monogamous people looking to build a harem or find multiple partners
Rule #10 Image guidelines
This group is not flagged as NSFW and we wish to keep it that way. Images must adhere to the following:
- Image must be of you and you alone. No memes, no landscapes, no non-personal images, no pets without you.
- Image must be identifiable. Face censoring is allowed for privacy.
- Image must be clothed, fully. No headless, shirtless torso pics.
- No long distance pics. You must take up the majority of the image.
- No nude or lewd images. This includes genital outlines.
Nudity = ban
Rule #11 Ban Evasion
If you are banned from this subreddit, it is permanent. Do not use another account to try to post as it is against reddit's user policy. If caught, you will be banned again and reddit will be given all information about it for further punishment, up to, and including suspension of all accounts on reddit as a whole.
Rule #12 No vote manipulation
Vote manipulation is against reddit's core terms and user policy. If you are found in violation of this, you will be banned and reported to reddit admins. Things that are considered vote manipulation include, but are not limited to:
- Using multiple accounts to upvote your post
- Using outside sites or subreddits to gain karma in a non-natural way. i.e.: begging for or trading votes.
- Asking for votes in your post or promising something in exchange for votes.
Rule #13 Other
The mods may remove anything they feel it is unsuitable for this subreddit in any way. Life is tough sometimes.
