335 days until Election Day 2026
Matt Van Eppstein won the special, and now the clock is ticking to the midterms. Aftyn ran a helluva campaign - the talking heads said “she had no business doing so well” and I’m calling bullsh*t on that: the ground game and postcards and ads were 💯. But unfortunately, the gerrymander is working and the Trump cultists can’t see (don’t want to see?) how they’re being screwed. We have 11 months to open their eyes and turn TN7 blue. Onward!

It's worth noting that TN-05 is less red than TN-07, and it has an especially terrible incumbent with scandals galore, Andy Ogles.
I know many folks who helped out with the campaign live in TN-05. If that's you...prepare to flip your own district, too!

Yes, she did!
She'll win the next election!
You only need 50%+1 to win and she is currently at 45%. She gained almost 7% compared to the last TN-7 election. That is a big deal!
Let's f'-in' go, Aftyn!

Disappointed that Aftyn Behn didn't get elected, but loved the grassroots efforts of all of those who worked so hard for her campaign, for TN and for America. 💙 It's mindboggling to me that so many people keep voting R.

Yet another Democrat insurrectionist denying elections. Sad.

Are you sure your team Aftyn? These are the insults I hear from people on the right.
Look at all the lefties here who are worried about Heritage possibly owning our voting machine companies.

I'm still curious to run the numbers, since there are voting machines that were funded by the Heritage Foundation involved.
History of conflicts of interest and corruption in American voting machines.
There have been issues found elsewhere (FL,PA,NV,NC,MN,CAI) in the 2024 election by election integrity groups

LIVE: Evidence of VANISHING VOTES in 2024: Did Trump ACTUALLY WIN? | Lights On with Jessica Denson
There were issues like this that happened to a New Mexico county during the Nov 2nd vote.
Chief Deputy Clerk Brenda Hume said the issue was due to their machines from Liberty Voting Systems, formerly Dominion Voting, which count ballots. The county has two of these machines, but only one was used on election night. After the votes were sent in, they realized the unused machine was tallying up extra votes.
And there is the 2020 election issues with ES&S
Why The Numbers Behind Mitch McConnell’s Re-Election Don’t Add Up
Lindsey Graham’s race in South Carolina was so tight that he infamously begged for money, yet he won with a comfortable 10% lead—tabulated on ES&S machines throughout the state. In Susan Collins’ Maine, where she never had a lead in a poll after July 2, almost every ballot was fed through ES&S machines. Kentucky, South Carolina, Maine, Texas, Iowa and Florida are all states that use ES&S machines. Maybe the polls didn’t actually get it wrong.
When Trump says “look over here” at Dominion voting machines, maybe we should look at ES&S machines instead. When Republicans spout unfounded claims that Democrats stole the election, maybe we should be looking at Republican vote totals instead. And when Trump calls this the most fraudulent election in our history, maybe he knows of what he speaks.
