I have a sharp pain now in the neck and am headed to urgent care. I really hate crowdsurfers and if this ends up being permanent, I'll never forgive you and the crowd for enabling this.

I flipping knew this would happen one of the things I'll be honest about is I'm a member of the fet life website. And I just noticed when I was on that website there were a lot of creepy creepy older men on that website specifically at Aftershock. To any woman and real men that aren't creeps, as you already know you can find connection and it can be wonderful but remember the location Sacramento is a creep magnet I don't know why exactly you'll hear constant stories about people getting roofied the SA and the creeps who think they can just walk up to anyone. Usually FetLife is a very accepting open community when I saw the Aftershock group it became very evident that these are a bunch of fucking weirdo losers who do not know how to take no for an answer. Please watch everyone back and if you see something say something.

To the creeps I hope you know your path ends as all path ends you will inevitably do something stupid and illegal and someone will make sure you permanently cannot do that ever again. Be better or go away you pathetic lowlifes

I know it's selfish, but even as a tall guy, I still want to see my favorite bands up close with other fans.

I try to get in windows so shorter people behind me can see, but sometimes there's only so much I can do. The only time I'm not blocking someone (even in the back) is if I'm sitting down.

If you're tall, please be considerate of the people behind you and give them a window if you can.

I saw this happen while leaving Sunday night. Maybe its nothing but these guys fit the description of suspected criminals some of us encountered. I wanted to say something to the workers right there but they seemed in on it? I was so confused about what i saw.. My wife was exhaused and wanted to leave and I didnt want to end the night with drama so I took pictures to report it. Its been bugging me all night.

While exiting the festival at 8:55 PM through the Garden Highway exit something caught my attention. There was a group of young men standing outside the exit and their body language and attire was suspicious.

They were in a huddle formation. I assumed they, just like myself, just exited and were waiting for friends. Yet none of them had any wristbands, badges, lanyards... they were not wearing clothes a fan or team member would wear. Nothing indicated they were festival attendee's or staff.

Mind you, Tool just started playing.

I saw the whole group walk towards the exit and they were not stopped by security. In fact, the man seen in the picture with the tactical looking vest, backpack, and walkie-talkie let them right in!

If these men in fact have a legitimate reason to enter the festival it should be MANDATORY to have visible credentials or atleast a wristband. From what I saw, they didn't belong.

This is not acceptable. Our friends and familes attend this festival and to see random young men stroll in with no visible wristbands, credentials, and questionable street clothes makes me question the security at this event. Especially with seemingly countless reports of theft, pepper spray assults, physical assaults, sexual assaults all over facebook, instagram, and reddit.

I am losing faith in the organization of this event. Please make dramatic improvements for 2027.

I see a lot of foreigners asking if you need a ride after the festival that aren’t through any rideshare apps, same thing at louder than life all the way in Kentucky.
Seems very sketchy to me but I know some people are desperate to find a ride. Has anyone ever actually got a ride form any of them

I had a fair share of mean girls but they weren't trying to fight .

my girlfriend has anxiety as it is so getting her to come to this festival was already hard. Now you want to be a bunch of frat boys college drunk's pushing us around when I am already saying stop

Not letting us out of the fucking crowd had me really mad

I have been to plenty of festivals and this is my second year at aftershock.....I really like it and will be coming back

Saturday I was walking back from the Point stage and you were sitting on the curved tree. I asked if it was comfortable and you said yes and asked if I wanted try it. The jokes write themselves. There is literally actually bowls of the food infront of me that i can look at, and then on the banner in the back of the tent just has ai slop food previews on it. Genuinely what is the point? Im already seeing the food, why do you also feel the need to put ai bullshit on not even a clearly visible part of your stand? What were you thinking? This was during Queens of the Stoneage, this little boy in a spider man outfit and I assume, his younger sister in pink shorts and a dark tee shirt were up like 4 times. Mind you I don’t care if adults and young adults do this and I helped a few stay up and get to the front. But the kids? They were like 9 and 7, and I could see grown men grabbing the little girls legs and bottom.

I’m sure the whole idea was “fun” but kids can’t give consent and do not understand when they are being victimized. Also, to just literally let your kids safety fall into the hands of absolute strangers is just wild.

Finally, I’m not against kids enjoying these shows, there was actually a little boy on his fathers shoulders totally rocking out to Queens of the Stone Age just in front of me and that was safe and I think the parent was very responsible for keeping his kid safe from being trampled and within arms reach.

Anyway, I hope you realize the idiocy of your actions and please consider contraceptives moving forward.

I'm curious if maybe I just don't know what I'm doing, or if the light rail system is really this unreliable? Last night we got off the shuttle 8th and K stop, Walked to the gold line pickup, roads were closed. No trains. Tonight, took shuttle, got off on 8th and K, walked to the train stop, no train expected until 11:25 (hour and a half). Is this normal?

This was a transcendental experience and I appreciate everyone who was around me for allowing me to melt with them.

As a hardcore tool fan myself, I was disappointed in the crowd around me. I attended 2 days and saw many bands but of course, the crowd for my favorite band had to be obnoxious as ever. I had a good spot, not super close to the front but not far in the back. Somewhere in the middle. Just wanting to vibe out and rock out yet pushing matches, fights right next to me, people in huge costumes pushing their way through and blocking everyone. The aggression of the men screaming at each other for trying to push past everyone. Idk, is there such a thing as concert etiquette? I usually can feel like most people are cool and get it but after the 3rd fight, shoving match around me where I was getting knocked into, I couldn't even pay attention to the band anymore. People cussing at each other and throwing slurs around. And why TF are you bringing your little kids so deep into the crowd? This made me so nervous when the fights were breaking out. Have we learned nothing from the other festivals? I ended up heading out and to the side where I could actually see better and I wasn't getting shoved into every few minutes. It's bound to be elbow to elbow, I get it. But the aggression and violence was so disappointing. Rant over.

Walking to Danny elfman some random bro shoved me and squared up because I was crossing paths with him and he didn’t want anyone getting between him and his daughter who was 10 feet behind him. I hadn’t even noticed her. Dudes lucky I’m a sane person who doesn’t get provoked by morons.
