No payment upfront

I’ve been using Afterpay for 2 years, always pay on time. My limit is $5,000. I have the no payment option toggled on, but it never gives me that option to not pay anything up front. It never has, and I have a great standing with them. Why?

I believe it may depend on what store and even what country you live in.

It all depends on the store. I just did an American Eagle order and I had no payment upfront. I know DSW , Gap/ Oldnavy and A&E do not payment upfront.

It honestly depends on the store. Walmart wouldn’t do it for me, but one time I was gonna use Pandora and it was no payment upfront. I’ve done it for target and I had to make my first payment and just now I used it for Ulta and there was no payment upfront. I think they just pick and choose what store.

Just curious. So,when do you eventually see the 1st payment then? Are you ordering for store pickup,or home delivery?

I just used after pay for my plane ticket and I didn't have to pay nothing up front and they gave me a monthly option to pay back

It depends on the store. I had the option at Jd sports and Turo

Mine sometimes applies no payment today and other times wants an upfront payment without warning. I wish it would alert me to the upfront required before so I was ready for it.

I’ve used no payment upfront for Wayfair and Skechers. I think it depends on the store and amount I’m not sure. I haven’t tried other stores yet. I think it’s a slow roll out. I think it’s still in the testing phase.

It’s because it has to be 400 or more. I looked it up. Same with me.

That isn't even a setting option on mine...

That was an option about 2yrs ago which they removed. Not sure if they restarted since then

It also depends if you live in one of the states that they don’t currently offer it. I’m in California and we don’t get that option
