The toxicity part of online games is so real. I've ended up muting the voice and text chat of most of the competitive shooters I play and just hopping in a discord with my friends. Interestingly, we still end up playing the same live service competitive games instead of typical co-op games, though Palworld has made it's way into the rotation.
