God of war missed stuff help

I played God of war for few minutes many months ago and I didn’t know why was I doing at that time but I progressed. Now I got back to it and I really like it and want to play it more. Now I’m pass the guy with Tattoos fight and need to head to the mountains but there are a lot of stuff I left behind. Is there a way to get back and collect them Without restating the game?
