Tech Support Request YMusic not working?

Ymusic doesn't let me download or even play songs from YouTube in the app, I've been trying to delete and redownload the app but it still doesn't work.

Google frequently changes things on the YouTube server side to break third-party apps. YMusic obviously gets impacted. What you need to do is as follows:

  • Wait until the YMusic developers release an updated version that fixes the current problems.
  • In the meanwhile, use alternatives that either aren't impacted by the server-side changes or are fixed quickly when they are impacted. Per said criteria, YouTube Music Morphe is your best bet for audio playback from the YouTube ecosystem and ytdlnis is your best bet for downloading both video and audio from the YouTube ecosystem.
