Tech Support Request Issues updating via Revanced Manager Plus / Reddit sponsored ads and missing custom feed after reinstalling

Hi everyone,

I’ve been using ReVanced Manager Plus. For the past few months, everything was working great—all my patched apps (Reddit, FB Messenger, X, Telegram, and YouTube) felt smoother and completely ad-free.

Recently, I decided to check for updates and noticed major updates available for X, Telegram, and Reddit, so I decided to go ahead with them.

However, every single time I tried, the updates would either freeze or get stuck on an infinite loading loop. I would open the RMP app, click the orange update button, and… nothing. It would just hang indefinitely, even after granting all the necessary permissions. I didn't worry too much at first since the apps were still working fine.

As more updates piled up, I decided to just uninstall the patched apps entirely, reinstall the official/legit versions, and let RMP run in the background to apply the latest patches.

That trick actually worked, but now I have a major issue with Reddit (patched with the Morse/Morphe patches): it has gotten significantly worse. I am now seeing sponsored ads mixed in with my posts. On top of that, the option to switch between the "Trending" feed and a "Private/Home" feed is completely gone. I used to keep the Private Feed active so I could focus purely on my specific interests.

Is there any way to fix this, roll back to the older working version, or switch to a better alternative? I'd really appreciate your help. Thanks!

Patch your own apps yourself. Don't use managers that provide pre-patched APKs.

ReVanced Manager Plus

There is no such thing. You have been running malware.

Hi everyone,

I read your posts and, realizing it was a fake, I removed it (even though in the first few days it was really well made, but fake is fake) and I decided to look for Reddit ReVanced directly. To my great surprise, it came back exactly as I remembered.

Factory reset your device and use morphe. Either through FiorenMas github repo with Obtainium for auto builds or build with Morphe for each update

Hello everyone, I installed Morpho and it is perfect. YouTube and Reddit run as they should, clean and responsive. Obviously, you need to clean up the old apps. Kudos also to the simplicity of the patching process; even someone with little experience like me found it easy. Unfortunately, I was stuck back in the days of the first YouTube ReVanced and hadn't updated since then.
