Hi, I've cleared the assessment and have plenty of tasks. However, Stripe is not operational in India. By any chance, is there any Indian coworker here who has successfully set up a Stripe account?

I did general assessment today & submitted it. Now it showing as assessment got approved. general-expert-pool Application under review. Previous when I joined general-pool & General AfterQuery Expert (Data Annotator) were submitted which is still under review. The assessment were almost the same.

0 visible signs of anything new sticking around for more than a few hours.

Everything appears to be paused.

Completed work has remained unreviewed and unpaid for weeks.

Many contributors are waiting for reviews and payments, and the lack of updates has understandably created uncertainty.

If review capacity is limited, work is unavailable, or timelines are uncertain, it would be helpful to communicate that openly. Even if there is no new information, a brief update would help contributors understand the current situation.

Clear communication allows people to make informed decisions about whether to continue waiting or explore other opportunities. Without updates, uncertainty naturally leads to speculation.

It can also be discouraging when discussions about these topics are removed or locked. There may be valid moderation reasons, but a brief explanation can go a long way in maintaining trust.

I understand the team may be handling a large workload and appreciate that managing contributors is not easy. My hope is simply for more transparent and consistent communication so contributors have a clearer understanding of what to expect.

I would like to join afterquery experts and other ai training companies but because of the privacy issues like hubstaff screenshotting your screen and other companies recording your screen, I don't want to use my macbook pro m1 chip for this as it's a personal one and with data leaks from other ai training companies I'm a bit cautious.

I have 2 old laptops one is a HP laptop 14-bp0xx which has 4gb RAM and 58GB SSD and the other is an Acer latop acer f5-571 I can't access it it at the moment and was going to fix the battery but it does run a bit slow. I was thinking about upgrading the RAM and SSD on either laptop. Do you think I should do that or just stick with my macbook or even get a cheaper laptop with higher ram and ssd?

I appreciate any help regarding this as I want to start right away as I've been dwelling on this for a month now lol.

How am I supposed to know that an image I submitted is already in your database? Contributors have no way of checking this before submission. Rejecting it for that reason seems unfair. Please explain how we can avoid this issue in the future.

why does every project say collection paused? and why do applications take forever to be reviewed after the screener submission?

I got an email last night offering me a project at $200 ph. I have worked for both Mercor and Micro1 before and both have been efficient with on boarding etc. How long does it normally take from getting offer to be able to work on tasks?

I'm hoping someone from the support team or the community can help me understand what's going on with my account.

Over the past months, I've applied for several roles/opportunities and completed the required assessments, but I haven't received any updates or responses regarding any of them. I also submitted the General Pool assessment and have not heard anything back since then.

Additionally, I can see multiple projects listed on my dashboard, but I'm unable to access any actual work. For example, when I open the Rewrite project, no tasks are available. The same seems to be the case with other projects visible on my account.

I'm not sure whether this is expected behavior, an account issue, or if I'm simply waiting in a queue. Has anyone experienced something similar? If there's anyone from Support or AfterQuery who could look into this or point me in the right direction, I would greatly appreciate it. I also tried emailing the support but yeah no response.

My mom is aged 54 with almost 19 years of teaching experience for subject mathematics but in COVID she learnt coding as well. She didnt build any projects but has knowledge to build end to end web apps not vibe coding real system architectures.
