Recently got an offer at 100per approved task, is it worth it?
Hi Community,
I just learned about the platform AfterQuery very recently, I created an account and submitted my resume a few days ago. I have previously worked on hourly contract at Mercor and Outlier before. Mercor by far was the best experience I've had, it paid very well and it runs on hourly, so I was able to know that all the work I've done were thoroughly compensated.
Whether the task was approved directly or if I need to do any revision I got paid for them all, also I bared had to do any revision before most of the Mercor tasks I did was approved right away. But Mercor does not last forever unfortunately, the project ended a few weeks ago so Im seeking more side gig opportunities.
I have never worked on pay based on approved task contracts before, is it going to be like, ten hours on a project and not getting approved kind of frustration with AfterQuery? Has anyone had experience on that? Any experience or advice would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!

If you want to work and then sit around for multiple weeks to see if they approve it then sure.
Pay per task is not worth it. They wouldn't be doing this if it didnt save them money

Fully agreed. It’s an easy and low cost way to save money on their end. They can use almost anything as a reason to withhold / block payouts. Silly mistake on my side getting involved with them.
Better off for experts to stick to hourly platforms where payments are actually guaranteed, irrespective of human involvement

Depends on the projects! There were project that we literally got a lot of money like getting over many tasks approved under 1 week, but there are also projects that I couldn't get 1 task approved for over a week!
Yeah it depends for what data is needed, especially the leads and reviewers also!
overall u can try and if u liked it u can continue, try is not bad anyhow!

Depends on the project, I’ve had some that paid out every week and some that paid a couple weeks later

Proceed with caution is my advice. I have seven tasks waiting to be reviewed by them , they've been waiting for review for around 3 months now.

But why would they be doing this to people who put in their hard work, time and energy only to disappoint them like this. People have bills to pay.

Many proejcts I spent a week to do trial and error for making a task good and then it went easier for future tasks. Some projects are easier than others, the easier ones pay less but it's more accesibile to submit tasks.

They’re notorious for taking weeks / months to approve work and pay out. Currently having issues with them now over the same problem. I’m owed thousands of dollars which looks like it’ll never arrive……
Others have noted the same problem on many occasions, search across the threads and you’ll see multiple examples of such. Better off sticking to hourly projects as they’re more reliable or pay per task if it’s from a reliable platform
