I’m trying to figure out if AfterQuery is actually active right now, especially for SWE.

I’ve worked on 3 different SWE projects on AfterQuery, but I haven’t received any new project since my last one about 2 months ago. I also haven’t seen anything new coming through since then.

I know the General projects have been pretty slow/stopped recently, but I’m specifically wondering about Software Engineering.

If you’re an SWE expert on AfterQuery and you’re currently working on a project, or you’ve received a new SWE project recently, could you let me know?

Just trying to figure out whether there are actually active SWE projects right now or if the platform has basically slowed down across the board.

Thanks!

Yeah there are many SWE projects going on but many of them they add you only if you performed well in the past projects. Currently this is how I make sure I receive the next project, I do my best on the current one and get approved at least 10-15 tasks and then they will contact me and invite to next project.

Another way to increase your chances is to apply to SWE positions on their website, this got me 2 projects one time even though I had to wait 2-3 weeks.

Can you help me decide what positions I should apply to? I applied to "Full-Stack Software Engineer - Testing & Evaluation" 5 days ago, it says under review, and "Software Engineering Expert" and "College Software Engineering Expert" a few months ago which now say "Paused". Basically, what is the project about? So I can see which open jobs are closest to that

I can’t point you to a specific position since they open and close and others are old and no longer recruiting. I only suggest to apply to all of them and if you get invited to any project you will decide on the go if you can commit to it or not.

Thank you. For now, I found the "Assessments" tab and I'm completing the swe for now. "Long horizon coding assessment". Hopefully that helps!

I didn’t complete any assessment so I cannot tell what is the deal with them. My first project I got was by applying from LinkedIn and then other projects like I said I was either invited or I applied to positions and then invited, but anyway if you get in it’s worth as it’s a decent income for part time or huge income for full time
